Disney surprise swap closed

HI Ladies, This swap is the Disney Surprise. Choose your element and topic. That’s all you have to do :) Don’t tell what your element is or your topic. It will all be a surprise in the end. I do however ask that you not make anything park specific. Your topic can be anything Disney.

DUE DATE IS APRIL 1!!!

The Details
1. Choose a group. There will be three groups to start out with.
2. Choose ONE elements for each slot you select – see the list below. Don’t Post your choices of elements . It will be fine if some of the elements duplicate within a group. Just think about what you want to receive back as you make your element selections.
3. PM me with your DIS name, name, home address, email address, and phone numbers. Email and phone numbers will only be used to follow up if I have not heard from you.
4. Post your weekly status on the Progress thread - which will be posted after the slots are filled.
You must check in 2 weeks prior to the due date. If I have not heard from you by then I will send you a pm or an email. YOU MUST CHECK IN 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE. IF NOT A PM/EMAIL WILL BE SENT AND IF YOU DO NOT RESPOND IN 48 HOURS, YOUR SPOT WILL BE ANGELLED.
5. Check the progress thread for your status - it will be updated with ship info and received info.
6. Packing Instructions - use a Ziploc for each person and put everything for that person into their bag. Please label each bag with your name so we know who made each element. Include $4.05 for postage (or stamps if you don't want to send cash) $8.10 if you want a box or are in more than 2 groups.

Please don’t send metered or click-it/ship-it postage – some hostesses have had issues with these.

7. PM me if you have problems and need to drop out or if an emergency happens (we all know things happen beyond our control sometimes), let me know so we can make arrangements for an angel or other help if needed.

yup I got them, very strange though I could have sworn I posted it. I must have closed the window before it was done loading I've done that before. Ok. I have 1 sick DS (cough & sore throat), 1 DH at work with the car because I have 1 car in the shop for an inspection. I also have 1 DD at home as usual. So, that means I have to borrow a car to take DS to the doctor. He is in no shape to also go to the post office. I'll mail it all tomorrow. Promise! :)

Thanks ladies for the well wishes. I am doing somewhat better. Right now I have a major flu so yesterday at the airport was not only very emotionally draining but having the flu :sick: and fever was just adding to the ciaos.

The ticket lady refused to let my son and my daughters friend board because she said we were to late getting to the airport and that the plane was overbooked and no seats available. we were told this 45 minutes before the plane took off! Come to find out a boarding pass was issued to someone 25 minutes AFTER we were told there were no seats left. She then directed us to a stand by plane of course that was full (5 minutes before take off).

All in all 10.45 hours later my beloved baby and daughters friend took to the air. They both arrived home safely at 10:15p.m. (Readers Digest version)

his father and I are talking about letting him come live with me in Arizona. He cried for the first time yesterday because he didn't want to leave. He said he wanted to live with me. :banana: So time will tell. Anyways I'm off to bed to try to rest. The fever is back and I'm just simply exhausted.

This is Katdisney reporting live tonight from the laptop/recliner location of my living room. I have begun posting the pictures for this swap but do not peek unless you want to wait!

I have a few more but the batteries died and I have to wait for DH to put some fresh ones in. I am not allowed out of my chair ( I'm supposed to be sleeping, so mums the word)

In further news I will be looking for that last package early next week. I most likely will not get to this all mailed until next Saturday as I HAVE to work 10 hour shifts all week to make up the day I missed when I we were stuck at the airport. The overtime will be nice on the paycheck though. Wonder if they thought about that..lol.. I just hope I get over this nasty flu :sick: I have.

The swap is sorted I just need to grab a few more envelopes after work tomorrow and I will be mailing on Saturday for sure. I FINALLY found a good way to sort the groups without any confusion and it went so smoothly. It was nice that we had no flaker's too!
