Friends of mine just returned from their vacation, and I had got them this hotel through priceline. They said that it was very clean, nice, excellent pool, more than helpful staff, and free laundry soap.

Did they pay the $5.50 resort fee and did they recieve a room of their choice ex:king, queen, double and did they go to the other 2 hotels in the village for breakfast?

They did pay the $5.50 resort fee for the 6 night stay. I did not know about this when I booked for them, but they said it worked out to under $1 per day, so they paid it. They were given the rooms they asked for. One family needed 2 double beds, while the other 2 families wanted the king scenario. They said the only drawback was the timing of the restaurants. When they were opened just never seemd to fit their schedule.

Do the king rooms have sofa beds? Also, did anyone have a pool view room? :)

The resort fee is only 5.50 for the entire stay. I thought it was per night. If only 5.50 for the entire stay, that makes me feel much better about paying it.

As with most resorts fees the Courtyard at Marriot Village charges $5.50 per DAY.

It is $5.50 per Day not for the whole stay.
no we did not pay it, they took it off no problem when I said we did not usse the busses.

We were told that we could eat at the other hotels, and use the pools there that the room keys would work on their security gates as well. that we should look at is as one big resort area.

I asked if we could eat at the other two breakfast buffets but the front desk clerk told me no, it was only for them, we had to eat from the $10.95 ( ? ) buffetor order from a menu. I know I read somewhere on this board that someone else was told no.

Well they got off lucky because for 3 rooms at 6 nights each, a game rental, 2 in room movies, and a few phone calls, the total of their bill was $42. They were only charged $5.50 per room, per 6 night stay. If it was each night the resort fee alone would have been $99.
