Does anyone know why on the disney website I can't get an online reservation for February of 2008? :confused3 I thought you can reserve more than a year out. I really enjoyed the time we stayed this past February (our first) in Fort Wilderness. :yay: Now I am hooked and I need another ressie. :thumbsup2 I just don't want to spend a day on the phone with MS if I can help it. Any help is appreciated. Kate

In my experience, the website reservation deal works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I would call the CRO and make your ressies. I have never been on the phone that long when calling early in the morning. :mickeyjum

Use your cell phone and call on the weekends when you have free minutes. That's what I did for all our ressies for our last trip.

Because rates for 2008 are not available yet you have to call and make your reservations, you cannot do it online. I called and got my reservations for 2008 without a problem. They will not gaurantee any pricing though until the new rates are published.

I was going to say the same thing. I made reservations for March 08 yesterday but they can't promise rates.

Thanks you guys for the good tips. princess: It looks like I'll be on the cell Saturday to see what I can get. :cloud9: My other problem is hubby. He has to decide on the time he will stay and where. :rotfl: I'm gonna let him loose for a month on the beach and then meet him. :yay: And then making my ressie for a slow time at the end of Feb early March. Thanks Kate

I just made a reservation for June 2008 using DU--a whole lot easier than calling CRO!

They book 499 days out. I had to phone to see why I could not book online too.. I have to wait until July 29th to book my time at the cabins.

What's "DU"?

Dreams Unlimited Travel (http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/#blue-dreams); a Disney specialist travel agency and a sponsor of the DIS.

From their web site:

Q - Is Dreams Unlimited a travel agency?

A - Not in the traditional sense. While we are CLIA Certified and insured travel agency, we are more a travel service than anything else. We specialize entirely in Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney Cruise Line®, Disneyland® and Orlando vacations. We like to think of ourselves as a Travel Service, not a traditional travel agency.

Hi all Thanks for all the good tips. ;) I just went to the DU (Dreams unlimited travel) site. They do not make reservations for FW here is a quote from their website "*Dreams Unlimited Travel does not process reservations for campground accomodations at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campcround. We can make arrangements for Wilderness homes and cabins at that resort."
I'm calling on Saturday my hubby finally figured out when he is going to the beach. So I have my dates set. Thanks Kate
