Hi We have a classic 2 bedroom booked at HIFS for a week in May. There will be DH and myself, a 2yr old and Dh's parents in the room. I did a search on this and there were too many posts to read so I am looking for any bullet ideas or suggestions that I should know. TIA

Myself, DH, son-24, & grandson-8 will also be at the HIFS! We are so looking forward to it and have received a lot of help from this board. We also have a classic suite-we got the $89. sr. rate because we are over 50-(just a little!)! Too good to pass up! Have rented a car from Thrifty-we'll have to shuttle to stand but the total for a week on that is to be about $155., that is to include taxes etc. Just haven't gotten the park tickets yet, will do soon though! Our biggest problem may be the flight down, we are booked on Delta out of KC, hoping they don't strike!!

We have stayed twice at HIFS with my parents and our two children in a classic suite. It's a little tight with only one bathroom, but we managed fine. I would suggest calling the hotel and asking to send a written confirmation. We have had trouble at check in; having the written confirmation smoothes out the process. Have a great time :)

You mentioned your parents are going. I have read on the board that seniors get a very good rate. I don't know if your booking yourself, but if you did I would make sure to call back and request the seniors rate. You can do that, try for a better rate.

MY ONLY 2 TIPS ARE 1. callway before you need thing s like extra towels, coffee,or a crib because it so Big these things can take a liitle while to arrive!!
2.At Breakfast eat on the enclosed patio!!! it's on the right ALL the way to the back of the breakfast room,go thruogh the glass door and you will find the most peaceful, pretty place to eat!! It over looks the lake and fountain and contains some suprises!! ;) ;) ;)
