I am going to try and make reservations in the morning for a princess meal for my daughter and myself. My husband and son (11) are not interested in eating with Cinderella. So I thought I would try to find something special the guys can do.
This is our first time at Disney so I don't know what is out there that they could do. Any good suggestions?:grouphug:

Are they into video games and arcades....

Do your husband and son like trains? If so, there's a tour at Magic Kingdom called "The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour." It leaves from the front gates of MK at 7:30 a.m. and lasts about 3 hours. They get to take the train from Main Street Station around the park to the roundhouse where they keep the engines at night. The conductor explains how they get the engines ready for the daily operations. There is lots of information and history about Walt's love of trains.

My husband and 11 year old son took the tour in December and they absolutely loved it. The minimum age is 10, so your son is old enough to go. I think they run the tour 4 mornings a week (not on weekends and EMH mornings). While the big guys were on the tour, I took my 8 year old son to Fantasyland for a Mommy/Little Guy morning. We had a great time together and we met up with the other guys around 10:30. I think it's a great idea to split up and do different things sometimes.

Hope you guys have a great trip!:)
