Summer Bay VS Bahama Bay??

We have a tentative trip planned in the next few weeks and I have narrowed down our choices to these two resorts. Hoping to find some firsthand info here. If you have stayed at or even are rather familiar with either of these resorts, could you share your opinions?

Both look fairly nice, with Summer Bay looking a bit more fancy. The pool areas at Summer Bay look really good. But having never stayed at either or as far as I recall seen either one of them, I am not sure. DH is appalled as I am suposed to be familiar with every lodging option in central Florida! :rotfl:

Tough one... someone recently just posted some very bad reviews on this board on Bahama Bay. I looked at some of the hotel boards though..and Summer Bay got some fairly low ratings too.

hmmm, I had found one review on here on Bahama Bay that looked very good but the pool at Summer bay looked so much better. One review for SB that was really bad, but all the replies were from people who were happy with it.

So, here is the crazy thing. We are not staying at either one. A friend has a timeshare at Liki Tiki, so we are doing that. She loves it there and the water "park" looks fun.
