Just wanted to post my Jack Sparrow photo from 17th Feb.:thumbsup2

He was really great, very realistic.

This was taken on our last full day at DLP. It was a Saturday and we saw Jack as we were on the POTC ride. He was hanging out at the Blue Lagoon. We asked at the restaurant if we could see him and they encouraged us to do so even though we didnt have a booking. Incidentally we tried then and there to get a table and although the restaurant was half empty, they were unfortunately fully booked that day.
We then just waited for him. The staff at the restaurant were great and actively encouraged us to go and grab him. But i am a Brit and i felt it was polite to wait until he had finished with the paying customers in the restaurant before we grabbed him.

He was really excellent. He was very much english and spoke exactly like him. If you closed your eyes it could have been him!!
It was really strange actually as we told him where we were from and he started talking about things in our area!! He then commented that he gets around alot, all in the character of Jack!!:cool1:

He was great with the kids and they were totally thrilled, especially my eldest Harry who is sooo into the films at the moment.

It made an already special holiday even better. The icing on the cake.:cloud9:

My DD does not know who Jack is as we have not let her watch the films as she is quite sensitive, so finding Jack will just be my mission.

i LOVE captain jack! im so excited that theyve got him in the park, i didnt know if they would or not. my mum went to DLP in january and bought me back a captain jack top with his picture on and a heart at he bottom with 'i love jack' in it - so cute!

What a great photo. I'm so glad to see Jack is at DLP. We have him at DL in CA. I'm looking forward to seeing him in August.

LOL - seriously he was a real charmer. Very English and as he was kissing my hand he was saying "I could stay like this all day" and I'm afraid I said "yeah, so could I"

He came out of his door by the Blue Lagoon and we were waiting so he got my dtr to follow him to where he said "the view is better" to have her photo taken. He was chatting away to her on the way, moving people out of his way with his sword, saying "people tend to get out of your way when you have one of these". He really was very good. Swooooooon. :faint:

thats a great pic, we saw jack last dec but it was literally for only a couple seconds as he ran by us lookin like he was on a mission but il be on a mission myself in nov to track him down and get a pic with him :worship:

We saw Jack Sparrow quite by chance as he was rushing to get back to his hideout (which is in the rocks by the POTC ride, by the way) and I almost literally bumped into him. As he is my son's favourite, I said 'It's Jack Sparrow' in a rather squealy voice, and he replied 'That's Captain Jack Sparrow to you, impudent missy' :rotfl2:

Great photo. I referred to him as Jack and my dtr said "Captain Jack" and he turned to her and said "thank you" and he told her he liked her style.:cloud9:

He must take ages to make up - even his fingers are grimy and ringed with dirt.

I also think Johnny Depp is quite pleasant but when in charcter as Captain Jack.........wow!
