I left a photo matte with GS and there were lots of signatures on it. Now that I'm looking at Crazed'boutMaryP's list, it was probably only the main characters, though. I guess that's another reason that we'll have to go cruising again. I need a photo matte specifically signed by Captain Jack Sparrow to put our pirate picture in! Sounds reasonable to me, how about you KC?

I'm not feeling sick or achy. Hope I don't. Too much to do at work this week. At least I've finally quit swaying.

i'm wondering if i'm achy but for the simple fact that I wore my Fit-flops for about 98% of the cruise and in port.
- but didn't feel it at all while wearing them

The same with me. Maybe these things really do give our legs a workout. I have them on now....:rotfl:

I'm not achy but my feet and legs (halfway up to my knees) are tight and swollen. It started on Sunday - I blamed it on flying for hours and hours (3 flights), but maybe it was the flip flops ????:confused3 I sure hope not because I do love wearing flip flops!

My feet were hurting while I was on board and I was worried it might be my new flops. They're cute but they have NO support at all. But I'm feeling better now. I figure it was just due to the fact that I was walking up and down the length of the Empire State Building several times a day. Hope you guys feel better soon!

Sorry I didn't get to meet most of you,by the time we boarded the dismeet was about over and we still needed to hook up with the other families we were crusing with.
Cherie, It was nice to meet you, once we figured it out!

Karen, my feet and legs are extremely swollen. It started some time on Saturday and just got progressively worse. we were in WDW and by Sunday night i had to get a wheelchair to get around Magic Kingdom. we flew in yesterday and went to the ER..They took some blood and urine and said my kidneys were functioning fine and did an ultrsasound to check for blood clots, and that was fine too. The doctor basically thought maybe there was too much sodium in the food, and gave me an antiinflamatory and told me to keep my feet elevated. It's a little better but still tight and puffy. I think maybe it was a combination of things.

Denise, hope your legs are better. I'm still feeling sick, kind of like sea sick now and very tired, but no swelling. Did you maybe get bit by something?
Hope you enjoyed your weekend in WDW.

Wow :scared1: I'm so sorry your having these problems. What a stinky way to end a great vacation. Feel better soon :grouphug:

Other than some slight stomach problems which started early Thursday morning, I feel fine. I ate way to much food and drink and I think my body just purged. Two doses of Immodium helped though. I didn't mind too much because I rather it leave my body that way than stay on my stomach and legs. Already have too much there already :rotfl2:

Hi everyone. We are home safe and sound too. We all had a wonderful vacation, and loved every minute of it. My daughter was sick with vomiting and fever right after the trip, but I am not convinced that it isn't just being over-tired. My husband got a concussion in our stateroom (whacked his head on the bunkbed) and has been dizzy since. No one here has swayed at all. We had a really stable stateroom location (GO 2108 Anty!!!) and didn't notice any movement at all when in there.
We decided not to re-book for now. I would like to go to a nice all inclusive beach resort next time and hang out. But we will probably to another Disney cruise in a few years.

It was nice to put faces to all your names.

My feet were swollen on Saturday as well and have been all week...I am actually going to the doctor today as I am already on a water pill and I have doubled up on it since sunday...they are better now, I don't think 100% yet...my ankles and feet looked like tree trunks when we left Florida..but I have been experiencing some lower back pain so I am thinking that maybe I have a kidney infection or something of the like.

Talk with you all soon!

I hope everyone gets back to normal quick. At least nothing major during the cruise. It can't be too bad to call in sick after vacation. ;)

Michelle, I emailed you, don't know if you have access to that anymore considering your computer issues. Let me know.

Greetings my fellow cruisers!

Well - I am FINALLY getting to pitstop on the thread! We are still quite exhausted from getting home on Sunday. We had some issues with our connecting flight due to weather in Atlanta so we got home at 1AM and went to work the next day. I need a vacation from my vacation!

All in all, Jeff and I enjoyed meeting all the folks we did. Michelle, I really miss my friend Emily. Please tell her I said hello and that I hope to see her really soon! BTW, Jeff really finds his nickname of "chicken wing" quite endearing!!! Joan, I miss Rebecca and Tyler as well - tell Tyler not to eat too many snails! And I'm never playing Bingo with you again!

Ant, Ed, Ava and Leo - thanks for a great time and all the laughs.

Pacdaddy - how cool was it to have DJ Mike play Zebra thru the house system 4 times?! Ah...those memories of Rockin' Bar D! It was a nice surprise to have you and the family on the same cruise!

I could go on and on - so many cool people we met. I hope we can all cruise together again sometime.

We enjoyed our extra day and 1/2 after we got off the ship. Michelle, I did get Jeff to go back to MK - he wasn't happy - but it was fine. Sunday, we shopped for our niece and nephews!

I am JUST getting my land legs back. I randomly felt like I was still on the boat for these last few days. I was swaying pretty bad on Saturday and Sunda. - I felt drunk!

We did rebook another cruise for next year; May 23, 2009. It will be our
15th wedding anniversary on 5/21/09. We are doing the Tortola cruise - all the agent needed to say was rain forest; something Jeff and I always have wanted to do. So....here comes cruise #5!

Hope everyone who feels under the weather feels better soon! Where the hell is the warm weather??!!

Let me know what the doctor says! I don't have the lower back pain but I have been considering calling the doctor. My feet and legs are still pretty swollen. I had a pedicure scheduled today, so I went and she told me to buy some over-the-counter water pills. I did get them and just took one. We'll see if that helps. How odd that 3 of us had the same thing happen!

Let us know what the doctor says. They told me to keep my feet elevated as much as possible,it seems to help. It's alot better today but by the end of the day at work I could see they got swollen again. so i'm in bed with two pillows under my feet. they ran my labs and my kidneys were fine. It'll be interesting to see what your doctor says.

A little strange that the three of us had the same symptoms around the same time.:confused3

Hello Everyone!!

Just want to say it was very nice meeting you!!! Sorry I didn't get to meet everyone! How is everyone feeling now? We seem to be in a slight depression and can't really get back into the swing of things! I Definately Need the Cove Cafe!! They made the best coffee drinks ever!!! Its funny, this was our 3rd cruise but the 1st time I discovered the special java!!

Anty, Danielle says Hello to Ava too! She has been busy with a social studies expo project that was due. She is also alittle depressed! I think the only cure is to book another. The next one (unfortunately) will be R.C.

Well again, it was very nice meeting all!
Betsy and Debbie, Lets try to get together soon!
Take Care! Colleen:)

Hi Everyone, I hope all are well. We had such a great time on board. It was great to meet everyone. Lilo62 and her DH made the cruise a happening after hours as well as ashore! Great time had by all. My 2 girls left the boat with a cough they have not shaken, I know have it and it was one sovenier I wish they didn't get. Holly had 101.5 temp yesterday :( This was the only downfall. I hope all others not feeling well get better soon. To quote the great one "See ya Real Soon!"

Hi everyone. I can't beleive a week has passed already since the cruise. I am going through withdrawals :sad1: I am trying to slowly talk my husband into a cruise out of NY in late July. I know he won't agree to another plane flight to Florida or anywhere else this year. (we go to WDW in Oct) so I am trying my best to persuad him on a cruise to St.John and Halifax. I know it's not DCL :guilty: but beggars can't be choosy. ;)

And to think I thought I was depressed last Saturday. No one around all week to tend to my every need. It was me tending to everyone elses needs...:laundy: Oh well, that's why I convinced my husband to rebook while on board for next April. :cool1: Anyone else? Colleen, I spoke to Betsy yesterday, the girls are getting together tomorrow. Any way, Bob is getting the "bar" opened and our pool is scheduled for opening on the 19th!! We will get together soon...:woohoo: Denise, start putting your thinking cap on for my magnets for next year!!! Thanx Debbie

Me too! Where the heck is Clefas? This place needs cleaning. But I'm not doing any of that today. I'm having too much fun with the Scrapmatters Challenges. Happy National Scrapbooking Day all.

I know what you mean, though.... I'm ready to look into other cruise lines just to go on one again! But I don't think I want to. I saved my virgin cruise experience for the Mouse and I think I'd be disappointed in others. :rotfl2:

Hi all! I feel so out of the cruise loop...between leaving the ship, not knowing when our next cruise will be and having a rough week back at work.and not reading our thread...something is definately lacking! I was a chairperson for our school's first penny social on Friday so my past week has been chaotic to say the least.

Re:my swollen feet/ankles...I did go to doc on wed. They had gotten noticably better by then..I had doubled up on my RX water pill on sun, mon, tues, wed and thurs..and I think they looked pretty much normal by the time I saw him. They did do a quick dip of my urine and it was fine. Doc blamed it basically on travel, over use of feet (aka a lot of walking in less supportive shoes), and richer foods (more salt). He said if they weren't normal by the beginning of this week, to call him on Monday. Thankfully, they are fine! Hope eveyone else's swollen issues are resolving themselves!

Joan: We are definately missing our great dinner and cruise company! Emily had a hard time settling back into routine with school and not having an almost constant companion in Rebecca! I have not been online all week so I haven't seen your email. Will get back to you soon!

Gina and Chicken Wing: Hello and miss you right back at ya! We really enjoyed meeting you and I know Emily is missing her nightly visits. As I write this she told me to tell you she fed her baby alive (doll) and she is peeing! The Tortolla cruise is peaking our interest also..but unfortunatley we would have to do it in the summer since I am taking a week off in December for our trip to WDW

Re: The nickname Chicken Wing! No idea how that one came about...but it is definately sticking! I think it is only the the result of an active child's imagination! Glad Jeff likes it...cause it has stuck.

Ant, Joan and Gina: We need to plan a cruise reunion! Who else is in decent traveling distance from the hudson valley?

Talk with you all soon! Miss everyone and all the pleasures of a disney cruise! Michelle

OMG, I have to tell you all what I did today.

I booked a cruise on RCL. I feel a little :scared1: and a little :woohoo: .

I rebooked on DCL and plan on cruising with them in 2010.

Today, I booked on RCL for April 5, 2009 Southern Carribean cruise. It was $3200 for our family of 4 in the same type stateroom that we had on DCL. When I was rebooking onboard DCL I had asked about that same week (April 4, 2009) and it was $7500!!! It is Easter break.

I am starting to get excited, however, I feel like a bit of a trader. :confused3
My thought is that we will keep our DCL ressie until after the RCL cruise so that we can make an educated decision about which cruise line suits our needs best.

It is the Adventure of the Seas ship out of San Juan. Their cancellation policy is the same as DCL, so I can still change my mind, but the ports are very enticing. Aruba, Curacao, St. Maartin & St. Thomas, plus a day in PR. I am most excited about Aruba!!! I have been to St. Maartin & St. Thomas, but DH has not.

What do you guys think?

I would love to know your thoughts after the cruise. My DH wanted to do a RCCL next April, but I feel "safe" on Disney. My kids know the ship and are comfortable with it too. :lovestruc No casinos, really no single people, excessive drinking etc. but I am interested on what your experience will be. We did rebook for next April. I bet you love Aruba. We went two years in a row and stayed at the Hyatt. I know the cruise ships do an excursion to the Hyatt, check it out. Have fun. Be prepared for everyone to want a post trip report!!:rolleyes1

Go for it! Vacations are all about family time and memories and of course the almighty dollar. If you can cruise the week you want, where you want, for half the price, you should not feel guilty. You should feel thrilled!
You'll have a great time!

We went on that exact cruise last year. You'll love it. Our whole family agrees that Disney is THE BEST, but we've had really great cruises on Royal too. We have 2 kids in college , and Meaghan will start in the fall so we're lucky we can get away at all. Disney is just so much more expensive, we just can't do it all the time. RC is a different experience, but you'll have a great time. The kids clubs are lots of fun (although not open as many hours as DCL and not through meal times) . Ava and Leo will like it. I wish we could join you!

Karen,

You just made me feel so much better. I could not stop thinking that it may not be as great as I originally thought, but now I am feeling positive again. We are just gonna do it and have a blast. My kids will be almost 12 and almost 9 when we go, so the kids club wont be a huge issue. I do know that they are closed during meals. It will force my kids to eat with us!!!!:goodvibes
Did you arrive in PR the day before? If so, where did you stay? I have family in PR and my cousin works at the Condado Plaza & Casino, which is now the Wyndom I believe. Also, did you do any excursions? Anything you could recommend? Any info would be helpful.

We flew to PR the same day as we boarded. We were part of a group. The local TA here does a really good "School vacation week package" every year and we usually go with them if we're not doing Disney or DCL. We have 2 great excursions in St. Martin and St. Thomas - in fact we've used them both more than once. I'll dig up the info. and either post it or PM you. Other than that we are beach people so that's what we usually do.
Remember, Anty, any day on a cruise is a GOOD DAY!

Antoinette

Don't feel guilty - we are looking in to RCL as well for next year just to compare. My step-mother-in-law is pretty cruiseline savvy - all she does is cruise because of her polio, keeps telling me we need to branch out from DCL because it's expensive. I know RCL doesn't go to Tortola, but we are looking at May 24, 2009 which will be 3 after our official 15 yr. anniv. at a SOuthern. It's amazing to see that we can a Jr. Suite for even less $$ then DCL. It will take more investiagating but really raises the question.

We'll see you Sat!

Michelle

Michelle - check your PM's - we should chat! Hope talk to you maybef before the weekend!

Well, after much research we are 98% certain that we will NOT be sailing with DCL in 2009. We got such a better price on Princess for the same type of room. It's a 7-night Southern Carribean. It goes to a total of 5 islands; Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, Tortola, Antigua. We'd be saving $1,000 and going to more ports. Even tho there is only 1 day at sea, I figure I can get off the boat, if the island sucks, I just come back on board! It leaves from San Juan on Sunday, May 10. I have talked to SO many seasoned cruisers of all ages and they ranked Princess very high; no mixed reviews.

We wil consider sailing DCL perhaps in 2010, but will cancel our ressie and rebook for 2010 next year. I really love DCL so this a little scary, but I am looking forward to exploring a new ship and seeing more of the Carribean.

I hope we are making the right decision!

Gina,
I think you are doing the right thing. The standard set by DCL is high, but other cruise lines are just as good. It is bound to be different, but not bad. I feel the same way about sailing RCCL next year. I love DCL, but we have to branch out.
It was great seeing you and Jeff Sat. :grouphug: Thanks again for coming.

Maybe we will sail DCL together in 2010. :confused3

Ant:

Thanks for the words of encouragement and your right; we have to branch out or we'll have nothing to compare. Plus to save $800 and see more islands - well - what else is there to say! I'm going to cancel my ressie altogether with DCL - I need my depo for the Princess Cruise. I'm hoping there will be new itin's for 2010 so who knows what deals will be out there at the time. I think that's the only thing that's bothering me the most; that I need my depo to pay for the new cruise. But, I have to think everything will work out for the best.

Great seeing you both as well - it was an honor to be invited. :worship:

Here's hoping we can sail together again in 2010 on DCL!

Thanks Karen for your words of encouragement too. I'm such a Disney freak that it's very hard for me to migrate away. DCL will always be my favorite as well, but again, if we don't try other cruiselines, how will be able to compare fairly?! I'm sure I'll get psyched as time goes by - today is the day I will call DCL and cancel.

We are big Disney lovers too. We bought into DVC the year it began (actually "pre-construction") because we were so excited to "own a piece of the magic".
But, we have learned that we can enjoy other cruise lines, and I hear that Princess is one of the best. I bet it will be wonderful!

Am I the only one who still checks this thread daily hoping there are going to be more entries?

I've read the trip reports, enjoyed them all!

It is kind of depressing that after a year of reading a very 'active' thread, our trip is over. We had a fantastic time and wouldn't have changed anything.

Well, maybe a few things, we thought the kid's graduation was Friday so they missed 'graduating' on Thursday! Also, I thought all of the martini tastings, beer tastings, etc. were free. No big deal, just a rookie mistake. And one more thing, our Dismeet. It was great meeting everyone but I wish we planned some more events together (with the kids) as the week went on.

We actually spent about 8 days at WDW at the end of the cruise. It would have been too depressing to head home :)

I did book another cruise for Dec. 2009 but will probably push it to April 2010. Maybe some of you will be on the same cruise?

And if you're wondering about whether anyone is reading our thread, you know I'll be checking :surfweb:

Take care everyone, it was great meeting all of you. Even if it was only briefly. Hypermommy and all of the 'organizers' of our thread, thanks for all your hard work! It was a great year leading up to our big trip.

Frank

Nope, you're not the only one. I don't get to check threads as often as I'd like these days (too busy scrapping the trip and working on other designs) but I do check it still. Actually, from what I've read about other cruises, the fact that we're even still getting hits on our thread six weeks after the cruise is rather amazing. You're right, it's a great group of people!!!

You lucky dog booking another cruise. I've tried everything I can think of to talk King Charming into that. But he's probably right. I know he'd like to go on another cruise too but our wallets just won't permit it. Maybe once we get the continual-eating-machines moved out of the house, we'll have a bit more disposable income :-) I'll keep checking the thread too. I've enjoyed meeting everyone and would still like to know what's going on in your lives.

Speaking of which, DS14 joined the Young Marines recently and LOVES it. But his CO told him something the other day that I didn't like AT ALL. He's got these 4-6 little short hairs on his chin and the CO told him he needed to form a closer friendship with Mr. Gillette. Did you hear what I said?!?! My baby needs to shave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How come they keep growing up and I'm still 21?

School ended yesterday around here. At least traditional school did. I've decided to homeschool DS14 again so he'll be taking classes over the summer. But DS12 thinks he's done for the summer. Of course I've told him (although he doesn't believe me) that he will be doing some learning over the summer. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see schools go year round. We don't need to give the kids months at a time off for them to forget everything they learned. And I don't need them home in the summertime to help pull in the crop. So they should go to school year round! Anyway... mine will be doing something over the summer.

What do you guys have planned for the summer?

I still check, too. Not as compulsively as I once did, but I try to check in every few days. The "subscribing" notification seems to be hit or miss at best, so sometimes I'm pleasantly surpirsed when I check and someone has posted.

School doesn't get out here until June 19th. Watch what you say about year-round schools, Hypermommy, remember we have a lot of teachers on this thread! :rotfl: Meaghan graduates tonight at 6:00. Three down and one to go!:dance3: She is going to college in the fall to be a teacher.......maybe she'll be teaching in a year-round school someday!

In the JrROTC (Marines) that Kelly is in the boys are allowed to have their hair long(er) for the first year, then they have to have a pretty short cut. They always have to be clean- shaven. For liberally-thinking parents like us, Hypermommy all the rules and regulations are sometimes a bit much. But she loves the program and the structure is really good for her. I'm interested to hear that you've decided to homeschool your older son. Send me an e-mail anytime around that issue if you think I can offer any thoughts!

Hope everyone is well -

Woot! This should be a really good one!!!

And, since I finally found three unclaimed moments to string together, I was able to get a scan of the wonderful litho that Karen was kind enough to send me. Now we can all see why rantn had that look on her face. Shoot, we all wanted that litho!!!!

http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj18/hypermommy_2007/ship_litho.jpg

Thanks Karen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

BTW, I think the rules and regs are going to be a good thing for James. I'm too much of a free spirit for this kind of thing and I think the same would go for Joey. But for James, he's eating up the structure. And his CO said something to him the other night about failing 7th grade and how his only job right now is school and a Marine doesn't shirk his duty and all that stuff. It was really all the same stuff that I've told him before but maybe coming from his CO he'll listen a bit better.

I might just take you up on your offer of emailing you. The first one would be rather long becuase I'd have to give you the whole backstory. So if you see an email from me sit back with a cup of coffee. :-) But we're using Florida Virtual as his homeschool curriculum. I love FLVS! James was there before and the only reason we pulled him out was because some guys came to the house asking for him by name. He'd apparently given out contact information online (not through the school) and we decided it wasn't safe for him to be home by himself anymore. But he's matured a bit in six months and we're ready to give this another try. I love the fact that he still has teachers and assignments and tests but he can work at his own pace (as long as he completes a certain number of assignments each week) and we can do it anywhere we want. And we don't have to deal with all the "stuff" (tried to find a good family-friendly word that would fit) that we have to with public school. I swear the more dealings I have with the public school system the less I like them. Ever give a listen to Pink Floyd's The Wall? I swear we're just putting these kids through a meat grinder.

Oh, and before I tick off all the teachers, I know it would be a huge adjustment for you guys to have to work year round. And I totally respect that you deal with all those kids on a regular basis -- I know I couldn't do it.... I'd have to knock a few heads together. But I do think it'd be much better for the kids and that's what cements my opinion. Worse for the teachers, maybe, but definitely better for the kids. And in my book any kid counts for any 10 adults. :-)

Okay... I'll shut up now. Hopefully I haven't ticked you guys off too much. :rotfl:

Joan, you never got to have a Bahama Mama? Well, go get yourself one, girl! Every year when my kids are at camp, the first night they're gone I bask in the quiet. By the next day I'm frustrated becuase the house is too quiet. :rotfl2: By the time it's time to go get them it's all I can do not to embarrass them with hugs and kisses when I pick them up.

Oh, I've just got to share this layout that I did. I came across a picture of James and King Charming getting ready for James' First Communion. Then I remembered I'd snapped a similar picture on the cruise. I took one of the word arts I've made (the chorus from "Don't Blink" by Kenny Chesney acting as a page border) and voila! Jordan...Leeann says hi, she has been in a summer program, so not home very much.

Me...I am on a summer program...Work...So I don't get on here much... ROFLMAO.

If anyone is thinking of Easter this year, then let me know, and we can work out details, and meet up.

If anyone is in NJ, holla, and we can meet up.

Gotta run for now...Off to work again.

[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Is that a DCL jacket I see KC wearing? That's a great photo!

Thanks! It's actually a DCL shirt and the ever present suspenders and huge cup.

I've been busy working on getting the trip report we did on here scrapped up to include in my scrapbook. I can't wait until this thing's done so I can print out the pages and actually hold it in my hands. We've been trying to think about ways to get back on a cruise but I don't see that happening again anytime soon. Besides, it would never be as wonderful as the cruise we had with you fantastic guys! I guess y'all have ruined us, eh? :-)

Besides, I'm really jonesin' to get back to Epcot. Haven't even seen the updates to Spaceship Earth and they sound really good from the ridethrus I've heard. And I wanna go play in the midway over at Toy Story. I have a pass and could head back, but the kids don't have passes and I can't leave them at home while I'm off to Disney. That'd just be cruel. And even I'm not that mean (believe it or not).

Well, DS12 goes back to school in 1 week. And DS14 is back at Florida Virtual (online school - legally registered as homeschooling and I use this as my curriculum). I wish I could homeschool both of them becuase I get so fed up at the stupid buearacracy (sp?) of the schools (remember "The Wall" ... it's becoming more and more true). However, this year I'm going to take matters a bit into my own hands. The school's not getting paper towels and kleenexes from me. Instead I'll send them a note saying they can take the money for that out of the taxes I pay and/or the lottery money which was supposed to supplement schools. And that form that comes home at the first of every year where I have to write in all my contact information... I'll just write on it that it's all the same as last year so should already be in their computer. And on that note I'll send my darling youngest off for another year of teaching to the stupid test instead of actually being educated. And I'll continue to look for ways at home to teach him to think and evaluate information and educate himself -- which is what they really need to be teaching in the schools, but they don't have time to do that anymore because of that idiotic test.

Can y'all tell how much I'm looking forward to this? :rotfl2: Sorry to all the teachers in the group but as a parent I'm really getting fed up.

So when does school start for y'all again? Everyone else ready?

Denise-
we teachers are right there with ya. but what do we know?
only 3 weeks left....:sad1:

John- Glad to see you back on the boards. but even more glad to know that you have lots of work. Jordan has been asking about Leeann. She has something she'd like to snail-mail to her, so if you could PM that would be super.
We're doing Dec 08- the last time for the next 8 or so years that we'll have more than 10 days Christmas vacation, so we're taking the opportunity to finally see WDW "in season". We can't wait to see TSM and the new Spaceship Earth either (oh and last chance for Space Mountain before the 1-1/2 year rehab)
We will probably be cruising again in 2010 (we are booked for 2009, but DH is adamant that it "ain't gonna happen") If the stars align, maybe April again.
I've been working on my masters' so not much time for anything else - but will try to get the next tr installment out soon.

Hey there, hi there, ho there everyone!!!

So how's it going for everyone? Is it starting to cool off for you guys? Still rather warm here, but we've had a bit of coolness in the morning air for the past couple of days so I'm hopeful that we'll actually have something that can be called winter this year.

Hey, does anyone have Marion's email addy? I've misplaced it and I want to drop her a line. Thanks!

Hey there! Great minds must think alike!! I was just thinking about you last night. How's things going on your end of the world? Getting ready for a fun Christmas with your family? This is the year that Eating Machine #1 and Eating Machine #2 learn that Santa brings less when their things are so expensive :rotfl2: Hope things are going well!

Just answered the PM you sent.

BTW... if y'all hear of any IT jobs that are looking for someone to telecommute please let me know. I'm trying to get the word out everywhere I can but I have to be careful where I post becuase I don't want current employer to know I'm looking. Hope this is okay to post since I'm not trying to sell anything or anything like that. Just if you happen to hear of anything.

Thanks!

Yes, our week was a bit more $. :confused3

I am guessing because it is 4th of July week and not hurricane season? :confused3

We got a SPR so that is exciting. I'm a bit worried about being in the front of the ship, but couldnt beat the value. It's still expensive, but we saved $500 by booking the Cat 10A over the Cat 9B, which is usually what we get.

Hi all. We have also been bitten by the latest bout of cruise bug. But when Mickey told me how much I almost choked. So we are going to try Carnival out of Tampa for a 'did we really get married 20 years ago?' party w/out the eating machines! We have to wait till the second week of Dec, but being a slow period the rate was great and the ship shouldn't be too full. Please have a good time at the pirate party and tell Minnie I said hi. :thumbsup2
