What sort of fun things are there to do at Innoventions?? I have 3 little boys who love museums, aquariums that sort of thing. Epcot is their favorite park.

lot's of computer games, educational type games, etc. You will probably have a tough time getting them out of there. Don't forget to hit the "aging" machine. It will take their picture, and then age them 10 - 30 years. They all have a good time with that one.

Aging machine sounds cool but I think I'll stay away :scared1: having 3 boys in 2 yrs aged me enough :rotfl: :rotfl:

PS Are you going to divulge your room report plus number PLEASE :flower3:

That aging machine just takes the photos and stretches parts of them this way and that. My kids did it and I'd find it hard to believe that either of them will look anything like the machine imagined.

It was real tough to get the kids out. Especially our dd who is into VMK - they have a lot of VMK terminals there. We had to go there 3 times in 4 days. The most fun thing that I saw was a virtual hocky/soccer game thing that was projected on the floor. It was upstairs.

I don't remember seeing anything like that, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. If we would have stuck around to do everything, we probably would have been there all day.

Yes, you can talk to Stitch - the "Stitch Phone" area is upstairs next to the ASIMO theater. Stitch only takes calls during limited hours - I can' t remember if it starts at 10:00 or noon, and it goes until 5:00 or so. You may have to sign up with a CM and wait for your turn. It's fun. :-)

I will have to look for it the next time we go. When I was 3, we went to the World's Fair in Queens, NY several times and I used to love to talk to Donald Duck on a phone. I'd forgotten about it, but this post helps me remember.

Where is innovations?
Innoventions is in the former Carousel of Progress building in Tomorrowland, between the Autopia and Space Mountain.

Yes, definitely go earlier in the day. We went in the later evening, and it didn't go so well. My back was killing me, and we were tired (and umm...SOME of us a little cranky!) I just wanted to find a place to sit, but DH and DS6 were so engrossed in every single display, it was hard to keep them moving. DS2 loved a giant monitor display of a fishtank; the fish move when you touch the screen! Other than that, DS2 just wanted to run, run, run! We actually lost him for a few minutes. :scared1:

ASIMO (and probably Stitch) were closed for the day, and DH and I were so tired and the boys oddly wound up, we just left and vowed to try again later.

Definitely go earlier when your brain is fresh and ready for some fun!

There is so much to do at Innoventions. We went early afternoon because it was blistering hot outside and Innoventions is air conditioned. My dh only wanted to see ASIMO and I didn't want to go at all but once we were inside I didn't want to leave. We watched ASIMO perform and that was cute then my dh wanted to leave but i wasn't done yet. Sadly I didn't get to spend too much time in there because I was dragged out to go on space mountain but Innnoventions is definately a cool place.

We love Innoventions. My DS (now 12) spends hours there each visit. Lots of games, interactions etc. We also play VMK, a Free Disney Online Game. They have an area at Innoventions where you can create a character with special "In Park" items. Fun if you are playing that game.

If you are there at lunch time, try the Pizza Place nearby, great lunch stop!!

Have a great time.

Seeing ASIMO is a "must-do" in my book.

Since he only does a few performances a day, make sure you find out when they are so as not to miss him.

We love it when we are tired and need a place to sit and relax while the kids can 'play' on the games. It's a great place to go when the weather isn't good out or lines are too long. If we miss it, it's not a big deal to us.

Stitch Phone and ASIMO are the stars of Innoventions, and the rest ranges from 'just ok' to 'meh' IMO...

But Stitch and ASIMO are the must do's when visiting Innoventions.

During your brief conversation, Stitch takes your picture for his Ohana Album and you get a card with an URL on it from the CM at the Stitch Phone exit to get your pic free online!

...and ASIMO is what Innoventions is all about! :)
