Oh, and I've been meaning to ask something about women (and not in the birds and bees kind of sense either), which is funny, considering the theme of this riddle. I figured you all would be good to ask, since this thread is so female dominated.

Okay, here's a conversation I had with my fiance earlier today. A little background first. We just got a new Internet setup in our apartment. We don't currently have a computer desk and we had to sit the modem and everything on a table for the time being. Well, we had to move that table closer to the wall because the wires wouldn't reach all the way otherwise. As We were about to leave for work, this is what happened. It's paraphrased, but this is basically what happened.

Her: Can you move the table back?

Me: But if I do that, everything's gonna fall off.

Okay, here's a conversation I had with my fiance earlier today. A little background first. We just got a new Internet setup in our apartment. We don't currently have a computer desk and we had to sit the modem and everything on a table for the time being. Well, we had to move that table closer to the wall because the wires wouldn't reach all the way otherwise. As We were about to leave for work, this is what happened. It's paraphrased, but this is basically what happened.

Her: Can you move the table back?

Me: But if I do that, everything's gonna fall off.

Her: Nevermind, I'll do it myself!

Me: :confused:


I never said I wouldn't do it. I was just warning that all the new crap on the table wouldn't stay on there if it was moved. Why do all you women get all pissed over nothing? :p

OMG - I am meant to be on this thread! I just got my first ever home computer - we didn't get a desk yet either. It is on top of an old stero cabinet - if I sit on a chair my arms are up in the air trying to type, if I stand up (like now) the monitor is pointing down and I feel like a giant.
