View Full Version : When does peak season end in April 2008???

If I want to book a vacation for April of 2008, how do I find out what date the "peak" season ends and the "regular" season begins (for pricing purposes)? I know where to look to get 2007 pricing...but what about 2008? Do the "season" dates stay the same every year? TKS!!

I am not sure what Disney considers peak but I do know that Easter and Passover are very far apart next year. I have my kids' school calendar and they have a long weekend for Easter which falls on March 23. But their week long spring break (during Passover) doesn't begin until April 21.

The peak season will probably end around the middle of April. The rates and various seasons will be released sometime in the summer. Our school April break is always the third week in April. If it does not line up with easter, then most of the time we are there is no longer peak season. Since in 2008 it will not line up with easter, I would think that the peak season will end around the 18th or so.

Thanks for the info!! Just booked our next vacation for April 2008. Will just have to wait and see if we're in peak or not. Also...will wait and see if we can get a AAA discount applied (fingers crossed)!!:thumbsup2

Hi, We're trying / looking to book Animal Kingdom Lodge for April '08 but Disney does not appear to book that far ahead online!
May I ask how you booked this far ahead?
We're in the UK, so it may make a difference.

Usually the seasons change the Sunday after Easter Sunday, but with Easter being March 23rd that year, I just can even imagine how they will decide. Guess we'll have to wait until later this year to see.

This year(2007) regular season starts April 15. That is when our reservation begins.
