where they were doing a press 'sneak peek' of the new Rhino Rally attraction. I will post a full report in due course, but meanwhile here's a link to a RR thread on the Community Board which is worth checking out:

What age can go on this "ride"? Also does Busch Gardens have alot for a 7 year old and a 1 year old.. I am not too worried about the 1 year old as far as rides go, she could care less at this age, but I would like to know if it is a place to go with this age group? Thanks

Is Rhino Rally really on the level with Spiderman? I will not get to ride it until next month, so I will have to live through you, Simon. :)

Hi Simon,
thanks for the info about the new attraction at BG. An item more we're looking forward to for our 4-week-vacation at Central Florida and on the Disney Magic.
What about the german version of your great guide-book, are you still thinking about it?

Have fun

The ride is designed to cater for all the family, much as the Kilimanjaro Safari does in Animal Kingdom, so it will be fine for a 7-year-old. I didn't notice any height restrictions posted, although that may be because they have yet to complete the finer details.

BG also has a lot to commend it to the under-10 age group, too. As well as half a dozen or so out-and-out kiddie rides, it has the wonderfully imaginative Land of the Dragons, a purpose-built adventure playground of nets, climbs and slides. Then there is the steam train ride, cable car and sand pit dig (in Egypt), while most of the shows should appeal to children, too. And that's before you count the various animal attractions, most of which have guaranteed child appeal.

Barry - I wouldn't really compare RR to Spiderman as it is not that technologically advanced. It is more a combination of say, Kilimanjaro Safari, Dinosaur and Kali River Rapids. As such, it is unique, fascinating and a lot of fun.

PS: Still working on it, Viking!
