We have done dinners for my sons' basketball team all year. They are now in tournaments and hopefully will keep winning. They have three games this week so we are looking for new ideas.
We have done tacos, spaghetti, lasagne, mac and cheese, hamburgers, steaks and sandwiches.
Anyone else have any tried and true recipes for large groups of hungry teens?
Thanks in advance if you are willing to share!! :)

You could also go to your local Super Suppers (or whichever similar company is in your area) and make several of one type of dinner you think they'd like. At most places, the "full" portion is 4-6 servings, but for teenaged boys, I'd plan on the low side, so maybe you could do all 6 full-size entrees of one thing and serve that!
It may cost a few dollars more than doing it yourself, but it would sure be convenient!

fajitas (sp) as a change form Tacos? How about a big shepherds pie (make it in whatever you use for the lasagne and it should be about right)? Or a PROPER Hungarian goulash (with dumplings) with plenty of bread to mop?

Thanks to all for the great ideas!!! :goodvibes
We don't have a Super Suppers type company... we are in a small town so that makes it that much more difficult!
I will definitely try some of these new things though!!!!

For the boys swim team dinner at my house (26 kids) I did Chicken Parmigiana, salad and garlic bread. Buy the large bags of frozen breaded chicken cutlets at costco, bake them and put sauce and cheese on top. The boys loved them.

I know that you said that you've already done tacos, but what about Frito pies? I don't know of many teens who will turn down chili, Fritos, and cheese. You can serve condiments like sour cream or jalapenos on the side.
