Let's dream! What special offerings would you like to see from Disney to us fellow Canadians?

Maybe a special deal through a "Disney affiliated" airline??

I would be absolutely tickled pink if they offered free dinning. :banana: Second choice would be the 40% off offer that was sent to a select few.

Of course, I would not complain about money at par either.

I'm with BBM - All for DVC deal, but what if items offered Americans were available to Canadians, we are on the same continent!!! Like the Disney Visa Card, Disney phone... need I say more

This I love - only problem is it's not necessarily the cost of the flight - it's the darned taxes that put us over the top. :mad:

I'd like to see all-inclusive type of packages like you can buy for Mexico, Cuba and Dominican Republic resorts. It'll include direct charter flights, transfers, accommodations, dining plan and theme park admission for a price that's as competitive as going to Mexico.

At the risk of overdose, we can fly Disney Airlines where we can watch Disney TV on the seatbacks and served our complimentary snacks and beverages by characters. Or we can plug in our headphones and listen to Disney Radio. The TV seatbacks (like what WestJet has in their planes) has slots to swipe credit cards. We'll be given the chance to swipe our PhotoPass cards to review all our photos and given the chance to order the CD that'll get burned in-flight for us. During the trip, we'll also be offered shopping catalogues full of Disney and theme park merchandise so you can buy your ears ahead of time and pick up any souvenirs at the end of your trip that you didn't get a chance to buy.

It appears to me that direct flights to Orlando are only available seasonally except maybe between Toronto and Orlando. I'd like to see direct flights year round from other major Canadian cities.

Toronto is the most expensive airport to fly from, unfortunate living here its cheaper for me to go to Buffalo - November I got from Southwest direct return from Buffalo to Orlando for $135 US, even with the exchange and getting to Buffalo it was still cheaper than Toronto!!!

ITA - the only time I have flown out of Pearson was on Airmiles - and even then you have to pay approx. $150 pp in taxes - basically what you can get a flight out of BUF for - or at least you used to. The SW flights are quite expensive right now. I am hoping they go down for our Nov trip!

Technically, we booked the MYWWD last year and our entire vacation, flight, meals, 8 day park hopper plus tickets was $4000 which is about what a nice resort would be in Mexico for my family of 4. If you want all inclusive MYWWD is the way to go. I've never eaten so much in my life!!

What about a Canadian Disney PARK? That would be awesome...although the winters would be terrible! LOL
