Polynesian Discount ?

What is the best way to get a discount on a Polynesian room? AP, Disney Visa, AAA, or another method? Would I be more likely to get a discount in May or October? Right now, we have reservations for Food and Wine at Wilderness Lodge Villas, but we could add a couple of days and go earlier. Or if we are more likely to get a discount in May, we could go for a long weekend and celebrate my birthday! We have never stayed there and have always wanted to and I told my husband I want to stay there for our 15th wedding anniversary!

The AP rates are out for May, you could call and see if they have any AP rooms at the Poly. Fall discounts are not out yet except the PIN codes that have been circulating here. I feel sure something will come out for the fall for the gen public in a month or so.

I booked a GV room yesterday for July with a AAA rate of $279.65.

An AP rate is an annual passholder's discount rate. It is a set amount off the rack rate during certain times.
