Wish I could go. I only get 4 weekends off a year. I am using 2 in June when I am treating my whole family to a trip to WDW. I have to use one in Oct. to go to a rehab nurses conf. Of course I am saving my last one for Dis-Con 2002. Have to make it through the year without getting sick on the weekends.LOL

Boy, Teri, that is really tempting. Maybe that would help get me out of the funk I'm in. Put me down as a definite possibility.

I'll run it by Ed when he gets home. :) I also posted on The Disneyland board. :)

Oh Steve.....can your plane swing by and pick me up? :D

Boy, Teri, don't think I'm not tempted. But, we go to New York City in February for the Toy Fair and then March 1, I'm off to WDW with my mom. I think Bill will start to get a little miffed with all the trips I want to take! :D

Hey, Barb... 2 years ago my family went to WDW for a few days, then flew to Anaheim and did Disneyland for a few days. Why don't you do that... ;) (Of course, we were visiting relatives in Florida and Los Angeles at the time....)

Everyone would be welcome to join us. :)

I did a tentative check on airline flights today, and I can get Denver to John Wayne for a pretty good price. Course if I want to stay at the Grand Californian (which I do), all the money saved on airline tickets would be shot to h*ll before I walk in the door of the place.

Okay Steve. Please PM me with what you found airfare-wise for Denver to John Wayne. :) This is waaaaay too tempting! :D

Tia, Southwest flies out of Boise, you probably have to change at Oakland but they go to both LAX and SNA as well as Ontario and Burbank. I took SWA last year to Boise, from Anaheim. Check iflyswa.com for rates and specials. :)

Steve, you should check rates through Dreams Unlimited -- they do Disneyland onsite reservations, and sometimes they get very good special rates. Also, check Travelocity and Expedia, although they are more likely to put you into DLH (my favorite) or Paradise Pier.

Lots of hotels, great specials. :)

Teri, you really know how to work us, don't you? ;) I'll definitely look into SWA...I am one of those people who actually LOVES that airline. :) I don't care much for it when I'm traveling with kids, but when DH and I travel alone (which hasn't happened very often since DS was born 3 1/2 yrs. ago  ) we like to use SWA. :)

Thanks Teri. :)

Carousel Inn still has some of those $59 standard rooms available. (2 queens, fridge, free continental breakfast, across the street from pedestrian entrances and closer than onsite hotels, good reviews)
:D

Thanks Teri. :) I think we're all going to stay put in our Hilton though because we want to earn points! :D Thanks again Teri. :)

Check your PMs. Hilton is offering double points now through the end of March. Details in the note.

Corinne, we would love to have you, and everyone. I think this will be very nice. Different from DIS Con - everything is right there, and many of us already know each other, from other meets -- instant fun. :)

I will have my kids with me, and I am arranging for a licensed/bonded babysitter on Friday, and possible Saturday night for my son, so if anyone else has kidlets and wants to share, let me know.

Hi Teri:

Any idea as to where we're going to meet, and all that?

Teri, if I had either of my kids with me, I would have taken you up on your offer. :D Luckily, their not-so-licensed but very-bonded ;) father will be watching them that weekend. :D

Well, to make things easy, we should post our planning and ideas onto one thread - I think the one on the CB would be best. That is the link in my signature. We wanted to see how many people would be coming and when before making any specific plans. DL is different from WDW in that you are never far from anything, so we don't have to be so careful about location. Seems like most people will be coming in on Friday, right? :)

If all goes well and the snow don't fly too bad, Dayna and I should hit town Thursday night.

I'll start posting over there......it will keep it bumped and Dan will be constantly reminded about looking for a 'financial seminar' ( ;) ) in So. Calif. for those dates. :)

Hey, WillyJ is for sure, right? :D

Could you keep us posted, we are in the area (26 miles Northwest of Disneyland).
