We are visiting Orlando for two weeks. We would love to go snorkeling while we are in Florida. Are there any places within three hours drive from Orlando where people can go snorkeling?

information about snorkeling in the Orlando and surrounding areas; it is www.orlando.worldweb.com (http://www.orlando.worldweb.com)
On the front/home page there is a link titled "Tours, Activities, and Adventures".

If you click on that, a page will come up that has "scuba diving" listed almost down towards the bottom (which you can click on and then info. will appear about different places to snorkel as well as scuba dive).

Hope this helps and you have a great time!

You could also try www.funandsun.com (http://www.funandsun.com) which is another Florida site which lists a lot of activities like hiking and snorkelling. Look for the Crystal River, where you may even be able to go snorkelling with manatees.
