Thanks. I am picking up 3 days a week at work ( makes48 hours or more) because I want to stay at the Yacht Club next time. Should not take to long to have the money saved.

I really miss you all, too. I was looking at Brian's pictures on the CB and it really made me miss you all so much more. :( We really did get along so well, like we've been good friends for the longest time. You all made me laugh so much, espcecially you, Ray!! ;) ;) I wouldn't miss next year's DIS-Con for anything. I truly hope we can all meet up at different events throughout the summer.

I think I am driving my DH crazy with all the talk about what we did, what we saw, where we went, etc.

I can't wait until next year but, hopefully, we will have a few NW meets before then to ease the withdrawal.

Our time together was very special, wasn't it? I've been half-heartedly planning for another trip, but then I'd probably be doing it by myself, and it just wouldn't be the same. So I'll just try to be patient, wait for the various summer-cons, and look forward to DIS-Con II.

I sure miss you all, too - and I didn't get to spend very much time with you guys because I was with my family. I hope to make up for it this summer, and again next December.

Ray, I know the feeling....I miss all of you too...Weird huh?
How do you guys explain this to people? OR do you stay quiet cuz you know you will get one of those looks?

Ray, hugs sweetie!

Wish we could all see eachother sooner... :(

I know what you mean about explaining, glo. EpcotKilterFan came over last night to have dinner with my family and to show us her pictures and vacation video. While we were watching one of our videos, my mom called. Sue answered the phone upstairs and tried to explain that one of my "friends" was over. My mom thought that it was a work friend, but Sue had to explain that it was one of my DIS friends. I don't think that my mom got it. :)

Can we all just go back???????????now????????????????
If not, could you all just move to the Midwest???????

I've put this off long enough!

http://www.plauder-smilies.de/lach.gif (That's supposed to be me crying!!)

I miss you guys a lot! I've been pretty down lately and I've not had the WDW vacation over blues as I normally have had after returning from WDW. (Too much other stuff going on) But reading the posts here and opening my Christmas cards have me in tears. I didn't cry at the good-byes in Florida.
I'm making up for it now. I wanted to tell all of you personally thank you for all of your kind heartedness and how much you all mean to me, but I just haven't gotten around to it.

I will forever have these beautiful memories of you guys that will have to carry me over to DIS CON III. I love you guys and I know God will Bless you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Gerri

:( Hi Gerri. :( I miss you and your girls. I hope that whatever has been keeping you busy is 'good' stuff. ;) Did you see that there is going to be an Oklahoma DIS meet? It's on the CB. I don't have time to find the link, but when I do I'll PM you or something. :)

Say hi to Samantha and Vicky for me. :) :) :)

I miss you too Ray!

And I know all about... "the looks". Two days ago, i went to the Christmas party with my storytelling friends. Everybody asked about my vacation.

"I went to WDW and Bahamas", said I.
Funny looks.
"Again?"
"All by yourself?"
"No, this time I was with a bunch of friends".
Relief looks.
"Ah, people from your work?"
"No. Internet friends"
Terrified looks
"People you met through the internet?"
"Yes!"
Silence.

How can you explain that to the non-initiated? Hugs to all! I wish I could attend the summer meets too. :(

My family mostly understands, especially since Mom came and we had such a great time! My work friends are starting to. ANd guess who they all come to to get help on planning their trips! One person just got back, and two more are waiting to see our bonus status to see if they can go next year. Hmmm...I wonder who they will ask to help them plan their trip?:p

I am so glad I went on this trip and was able to meet everybody. I willnever forget this trip or the special memories that we all made. Something that you may not know.

Right before the trip, one of cats was sick.. He was diagnosed with an intestinal tumor. Being 15 years old, and so sick so fast, my DH and I made the difficult decision to not have any further treatment. ANy treatment we would pursue would have involved surgery and the vet was not convinced that his would help him or that he would make it off the table.

We brought him home and then (this was 3 weeks before I left) he kept declining. Almost stopped eating, tires, sleepoing all the day. We made the difficult decision to eutanize him before I left. I did not thing he would make it until I got home, and I could not leave my husband to do that alone. So Monday night, Nov. 26th, we had him put down. It was so hard. We spent the last 15 years with him and he was such a great cat.

So what was a very painful time for me was made so much better with all of you. Everyone was so nice and open and we had so much fun. When I got home it was very sad to be home without him, and even worse for my DH who was home alone during this time. (Alone as you can be with 2 dogs and 1 remaining cat!)

Okay, I am done rambling. I miss you all, so much.

Ray, I miss you too.. and I still have not quite gotten over your beautiful story.. I love that pic and it makes me smile everytime I read something that you have posted..

Hugs and Merry Christmas all around..
