It is definitely up there in my top 5 favorites with The Producers, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Sound Of Music, and Hairspray. I first saw it at a local highschool. The star was John Stevens (if anyone remembers him from American Idol). I really fell in love with it. We saw it on Broadway about a year later.

I love Guys and Dolls. :)

I was Agatha in my 6th grade production of Guys and Dolls, and on stage crew my sophomore year of high school.

Plus I've seen it performed at local high schools/community theatres numerous times.

And the movie? *LOVES* Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra? YESSSSS. lol

My school did that play the beginning of this year, and 2 of my friends were in it. I didn't go and see it but I have heard different things about it. MY one friend, Jenna, who played the colonel or something like that ( which is a girl) said the costumes were horrible and that the play was really bad. My other friend Char, who played some mobster like guy ( even though she's a girl) said the play was really cool and that she loved it. I wish I could have seen it for myself to see what it really was like but I was sick the night of the play.
