Hi,
We've decided to book this hotel for our up-coming trip. We would love a view of the parks - anyone any ideas on which are the best rooms for this?

Thanks:thumbsup2

Hi, you will probably want to start here:

It's the RPR room assignment thread.

We personally love the RPR, and have stayed there 6x. Splurge and go for Club Level ... you'll love it! But, if you just want a view of the parks, I'm sure you'll find it somewhere in that thread. Happy planning. :)

when we stayed there, we were 2 floors up and 1 room over ...basically same view, only higher....

Our last trip I got a co-worker 1631 which was between the last 2 posts/floors. I always loved the view, the dull roar and screams from the Hulk, Dr. Doom and the rest of IOA. They assigned me a king suite with a pool view so I could only see Dudley DoRight and JPRA. When we retuirned I overheard my co-worker tell another that she couldn't sleep because the Hulk was running "all night".

:confused3 it didn't "run all night"....ya didn't hear anything! I could hear it in the morning doing "test" runs...but that was about it!

we loved the sound of the hulk doing the test runs in the morning, it got my family motivated to get to the parks

The Hulk does not run all night. Universal must follow a very strict noise ordinance because of the surrounding neighborhoods.

When I was at RPR in Ocotber we were in building 1. I want to say we were on the floor above the lobby but I don't remember. We had view of Dr. Doom.

Is the 7th floor club level only? Since I've only stayed onsite once, I'm not up to speed on all that.

Only the 7th floor of Tower 3 is club level.

I know it didn't run "all night" but when she was complaining to someone it sure sounds better (or worse). I remember the noise ordinance from HHN. I seem to recall DD had to close on week nights at a certain hour but Hulk could roar longer into the night? I think the Hulk is farther away from the surrounding residential neighborhoods but consumes enough electricity to light them up.
