CAA rate on preferred rooms?

Anyone know if CAA (AAA) is only available for standard rooms. Tried twice to get it on a preferred room and they just tell me it's not available. Does that mean sold out... or not available? CM couldn't answer that question.

My guess would be that it is available on preferred rooms.

You could try to get the discount on a standard room and when they say it is available you could say "I really wanted a preferred room, can we apply that discount to a preferred room?"
