My in laws have booked HIFS for a short trip with my sister in law and her kids next year during President's Week. They got a rate of $129/night.

Since my mother in law is famous for paying way more than she needs to because she never does any research, I thought I'd check with you all and get your opinions on the rate.

Do you think it's reasonable? What did you pay and when did you go? Where might I look into discounts for them?

If there's a better deal out there I'd like to find it for them. The sister in law & kids cost them enough of their retirement income as it is...I'd hate for them to overspend on the vacation too if it could be avoided.

Thanks in advance to all you HIFS experts!

I've heard here on the board, that HIFS has pretty good senior rates. Call them at 1-877-387-5437[toll free] and ask! :D

If you qualify for a sr. rate-50-69, you could get a rate of $89. per night, on some dates! If you are 70-79, the rates go down to $79. I found it on their web site, plus they also have grandparent packages. Looking forward to going to HIFS and WDW in 27 days!!!

Actually, I was quoted a rate of $169/night for a kidsuite during that week and I did ask for any senior/aaa/etc. discounts available.

What has everyone else paid? I see tons of posts on this hotel; isn't anyone willing to share what their rate was?

We got $98.00 per night for a kid's suite but that's for the last week in November. I think your rate sounds pretty good for a busy week. Try valuetrips.com and see if you can get a better rate. That's what I went through.
