I have a question regarding my webcertificate account. I recently cashed in at Blink for a webcertificate and I'm wondering how long the money will remain in my account. Do I have to spend it in a certain amount of time? Will the money every expire? I'd rather not spend it just yet until I cash out at Mypoints and have that money added. How long can I wait?
Thanks,
Kimberly

I have had money in my account for over a year. It was my understanding that it doesn't expire but if the account stays dormant (no activity of any kind) for a certain time period, they can start charging a monthly fee against the money. But depositing new awards counts as activity so I have not had any charges assessed.

Thanks Tiggerish!
Do you happen to know that the time period for no activity? It will probably be another month or so before I can deposit my Mypoints in the account.

This is the official info from Webcertificates site:
Your Webcertificate Account expires THREE YEARS from the date it was claimed. However, if there's still a balance in your account at the three-year mark, we'll extend your expiration date.
Some "special offer" Webcertificates expire 6 months after activation. This will be indicated on the Webcertificate.
We'll send you a friendly email reminder one month prior to your Webcertificate expiration date.
Please review our Disclosures and Fees for more information
The fee info is:
*Account Dormancy Fee: A fee will be applied to Inactive** accounts after the 6 month anniversary date. The charge will be recurring each month unless the account becomes active or the balance of the account is $0.00.
Inactive**- An account which meets the following criteria:
It's been 6 Months since the last Webcertificate was claimed to the account.
There have not been funds added to your Webcertificate Account in last 90 days
There have not been a purchase made with your Webcertificate in last 90 days
Hope that helps. It is a little confusing but I think that at a minimum you have 90 days and at a maximum 6 months before you have to do anything. I got the hard card and it expires 3 years from the date I got it.
