Should I get a piercing in my left ear? I have never had a piercing and only plan on getting 1 in the left ear so i'm asking should I waste the effort of Begging and Convincing my parents to get me a piercing (that's the hard part is getting them to do it)

Depends, what do you think is right? If you want to go for it, first step is convincing. If you have the time, type up (or write out) a list of all the reasons you should have your ear pierced. If they buy it, find a nice store that works for you (I'd go with Claires). I think a small diamond or gold looks best. Just count to three (they may instruct you to) and, I don't really remember how it feels, but I think it's a kinda hard pinching feeling. If you go to Claires, they give you a bottle of solution for your ears. Every night, (they told me to do this, it may change for you) turn your earring 360 degrees and clean the area around the earring. In other words to wrap this up, I think it depends on how you feel about getting it done. Good luck!:thumbsup2

go for it i have 2 in my left and im going to get one in my right and then soon im gonna get a tattoo
This is not a decision others can make for you really. It needs to be a decision that you will want to live with forever. Yes you can take the earring out if the novelty wears off but the holes rarely go away completely.

Completely agree. :)
jasonpwns, if you just say Monkey, its over with. :goodvibes It's just like if someone pinched you, except for a shorter time...just like 1 quick pinch in your ear and ta da, walla, you have a hole in your ear with an ear ring. I have 2 ear rings on each ear....If you do it, be brave. :D

Yeah, is it just me or are a lot of people getting their ears pierced a lot lately?
If you really want to you can.

I'd go on and on about it, but it all boils down to if your parents are okay with it.
Can I make a plea that if you do get it, it just stays an earring and you don't try to stretch the earlobe?

I will get just a small diamond earring or a stud earing nothing that really brings my lobe down that would be ugly
