i was watching a news item about the girl who could not stop hic-upping for over a month, not sure if she still is.so i thought i would share my cure.i had hic-ups one day as a kid and could not shift them so i thought i wish i was asleep because i would not have them then,so i laid down and breathed as if i was asleep, very softly and evenly as if drifting off.EUREEKA it worked and i can loose them every time in about a minute.i work on the principal that hic-ups are the result of un-even breathing so you need to readdress the balance.anyway if this helps anyone in the future its been worth it.i can't help much on the disney front as i have not been yet,so this is my greatest invention:rolleyes1 GOOD LUCK!

OK, here's mine - the only one which works for me, without fail. It sounds simple, but it's actlually quite hard (try it! :teeth: ):

Swallow three times without opening your mouth. Failsafe, I promise.

Drink a tablespoon of vinega, it really works, someone on here gave me that tip when I was completely p***ed!

Some great tips - but I think I'll give the vinegar a miss :scared1:
