Ok, just got off the phone with DH and the house we are moving into obviously has no window coverings and we need curtains. So, he said...Well looks like you will have some sewing to do.:scared: Huh?? So, my question to you is...do you have curtains that come in ready sizes there or do you have to finish them off yourself???? We could have an interesting time with me and a needle and thread but I doubt if we would end up with anything resembling curtains in the end.:lmao: Here I would simply run out to JC Penny or Sears or even Wal-Mart and pick up curtains to fit my windows...it cant possibly be that different there. Please tell me he is just male and has no idea what he is talking about.

Just make sure you measure the width and drop you require correctly:lmao: :lmao: the ready made curtains here state the size in inches and cms just make sure you don't get them mixed up:lmao: :lmao: On the pacjk it should state for example "each curtain measures 48"width by 72"drop" if that makes sense to you. Don't worry most of our shops will exchange them for a different size if you bought the wrong ones as long as you keep the receipt and don't alter the curtains.. have fun.

Lol sewing whats that? :confused3
Anyway all of our curtains are pre made we just walked into the shop and bought them :) I must say that I do like Debenhams as they have a good range and they are on display and easy to see. Oh and yes they are often in inches and cm's but shoudl tell you what width pole they will fit.

If it wasn't for Debenhams, our house would have no curtains in it.

By the amount of ready-made curtains in the shops ~ I think the people who make their own are in the minority.
