In GA we are required to test our kids every 3 yrs.
In the past I've used the CAT 5(through Thurberts), but I've heard really good things about the
PASS. There are so many choices out there, that I'm having a hard time deciding.

So if you use a test, what one do you use?
If you use a testing service that allows you to test in your home, how "user friendly" was the test?

We aren't required to test here, and we weren't in IL either, but I have heard good things about BJU and their testing services. HTH!

We have to test annually in NC and I like to do the CAT. It's very easy to administer. I order it from Bayside Testing.

In the past I've also done the IOWA---it's a bit more time consuming but gives you a lot of information back for the homeschooling parent. However, due to some unethical, non-homeschooling cheating parents, this test is now more difficult to order. You have to send in documentation about the person administering the test and a statment/proof that you are legal homeschooler. Bob Jones is a provider for this test.

Never heard of the PASS. Is that a state test given to public school students? If you want to just get a test done in order to conform to the rules, the CAT is the way to go IMO.
