DCL Fleet Expansion in 2011 & 2012


I just saw breaking news right now that DCL will build 2 new ships, one will sail in 2011 and the other in 2012. Great news!

I would be very tempted to do an L.A to Hawaii cruise, if they ever offered one :)

Me too - im not a fan of flying so that would suit me!!
Always fancied doing an alaskan cruise - a bahama mama might not go so well there though!

Be interesting to see what they offer though!

Isn't it fantastic news!?! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: And another vote for Hawaii from me! :thumbsup2 I think I read that on the digital designs one of them looks to have an enclosed pool so maybe one would be doing the Alaskan cruises? I also think maybe one would do regular Panama Canal cruises as they are sooo popular. TBH I don't care where they go - I just know I'll be onboard at some point... :sail:

Im thrilled about the news - I reckon one ship could be for Alaska and One for the west coast.
Dh has always wanted to go to Alaska but it never really appealled to me as Im frightened of snow & ice. But if DCL decides to go there -I will just have to force myself.

I have already worked out that if I save approx £10 a week from now until 2012 I could have £2500 saved which I would hope to be enough for 2 if us to go !!! Anyone know some good investments ;)
