Home remedies for fever and coughing

I must be sick...I posted this on the community board thinking I was in the UK one and kept wondering why only Americans were answering...I need more drugs! :lmao:

I have been in bed all day with a fever of 101, horrible cough which sounds like bronchitis and despite taking paracetamol (which brought temperature down to 99.8) i'm still hacking like an 80 year old chain smoker and generally feel like i've been hit by a lorry

Do any of you have any things you do/home remedies for when you're not feeling well? I've been drinking lots of fluids but still feel pretty crappy (can I say that word on here?!)

Any advice that doesn't involve garlic, onions etc welcome!!!

The only thing I do is take echinacea, it boosts your immune system and I always find that it works.

Hope your feeling better,:hug: I've just got over the coughing virus, but saying that I'm still struggling with a cough and find it difficult to breathe still!So i'm off to the docs on monday
