This has been asked a hundred times ( I tried to search but it kept telling me my keyword length was too short), but I'm looking for opinions on room/building requests for OKW. We've only been home once - for an overnight stay before we went to SOG - and don't really know where to request. We have 2 DDs (5 and 3) and will have a rental car. Will probably eat at Olivia's only once. Would like a nice view, this time it was obstructed by a big, beautiful palm! Can't remember what # we were at - 18 maybe - was near the Community Hall though and very convenient. Is this the best place to be? How is the Turtle Pond area? We found the area we were in to be very quiet, just FYI. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Plan to be there in Feb and late Sept. Thanks!!:bounce:

I think most any place at OKW is fine. With your kids ages you might request near the main pool area or Turtle Pond. Ask for a 2nd floor to improve your view.

Thanks BillM - we did like the area near the Comm Hall and pool. I will ask for a 2nd floor and a water view! Thanks again - also - does anyone know of the link to the OKW map? Thanks!

OKW buildings have three floors, so if you want a higher location for a better view, you don't have to limit yourself to the second floor. You can ask for "2nd or 3rd floor" or "high floor" or "not on the ground floor."
Keep in mind that there are no elevators (except in the new buildings that replaced the sales office), which can be a problem if someone has trouble with stairs, or if you have a lot of heavy luggage.
