AP discount - just curious

How long does it take before the rest of you receive an email from the Disney passholder section that AP discounts are out? I usually don't get notified until the end of the first day they are out (at the earliest). By that time, a lot of dates are gone.

Just curious - am I the only one? That's why I have rely on the posts on Disboards - you always know first!!!

My email always shows up late afternoon, or evening, AFTER I have already read about the rates on one of the "unofficial" sites. It's really irritating!

That is one of my biggest complaints about Disney. It seems that one can find all kinds of info (e.g.,F&W fest info), that is dead on accurate, from sites other than, and often way before the official Disney site? This makes no sense to me???:scratchin

I got an e-mail, but it arrived several hours after I saw on the DIS boards that the AP rates had been released. I was able to get the AP rate for all of our 10-day stay at POFQ in April/May thanks to the DIS boards!!! :disrocks:

I received one and my hubby received one. Both emails arrived shortly after lunch the day the info came out on the disboards.

I don't seem to get the e-mails. Is there some place you need to sign-up for the announcements at the passholder section of the site?

I got No E-mail and there was No up-date Heads up as I was told would be from every CM I talked to prior to the AP Discount release. The AP site is a Bunch of Bunk to me as far as Heads up on the AP Discounts.. It has been this way for ever that I can remember.

I did not get an email, nor did I get my updates from the mary waring site..I did not know they were out until just now reading these boards. I usually get my email from Disney telling me about the ap rates too.. I already have my trip book thru my TA with the 40% off (which I did not have a post card for but must have had something with my my name??) I had her add another day to my trip tonight & did without any problems... :cool1:
