...sort of day. :) Well, minus the picture of me sitting at my computer.

The tree lights are lit, the Christmas music is playing, Michael is playing with his matchbox cars, the butter is softening on the counter, and the oven is pre-heated....

...I just need to get my butt up and off of this chair and into the kitchen....and THEN the Norman Rockwell picture would be complete. ;)

Wish I was having one.Too tired. Picking up lots of extra hours so I am ready when it is time to send in my deposit for next year. Floyd and Jon are grinches. They do not want a tree and every time I put in Christmas music they complain. At least I can listen in my car on the way to work.LOL

I don't know, Tia. Sounds to me like your day is pretty perfect as it is.

I'm stuck at work having a Dilbert sort of day.

Tia would be able to get back to her Norman Rockwell day if a certain Towncrier would stop sending her PM's every 5 minutes. :)

Sounds kinda like our house, except we have more of a Fred Sanford type of arrangement going on in our living/dining room.

LOL, Frank!.....a Dilbert sort of day! That's very funny! LOL:p
We picked out and put our tree up yesterday, I'm doing ornaments today, including all my new DIS ornaments. Good thing no ones home, I'm getting a little weepy.
I'm not ready for baking cookies, but I pulled the last of last years out of the freezer-does that count? ;)
John, quit buggin' Tia and let her get her stuff done. :)
I like that-a Fred Sanford thing-that's my house, too. Only my son's room is doing a kind of Wizard of Oz tornado thing all it's own. It's pretty scary up there-thing's grow under the bed and other things-well, never mind!  Leave it as just plain scary! :D

Well my Norman Rockwell picture-perfect life just came to a screaching halt! My oven is not working. It's not heating evenly.....everything on the left side is 'mush' :( Grrrr!

gotta go........

ROFLOL Frank and John. Very clever, very clever indeed! My DH said he's having a Dilbert sort of day too. ;)

John, I've seen your house. The Fred Sanford thing IS NOT THERE!! And Sue would ban you from DIS-CON forever if she knew you said that! :earseek:

John's house is beautiful. We saw it last spring when we went there for the Memorial Day meet. Fred Sanford, however, lives in my basement! Remember, Barry & I have only been married for a little over a year, so I have his junk, my junk, some of his kids junk, junk from my stepmom's estate, junk belonging to a friend who currently lives in a nursing home, and my 3 cats junk! I really need to have a HUGE tag sale, but we live in a condo so we have to wait for the annual condo assn. tag sale. Maybe by then I'll have it all sorted out!
