Trader Joe's & Cross Contamination!

Had a very scary experience and wanted to share and warn people with food allergies.
I spent 2 nights in the hospital with a very severe allergic reaction. I had every food, drug etc. test performed one me and the doctor confirmed that the bread from Trader Joe's had nuts in it....this was NOT marked on the packaging, in fact the warning about shared equipment was not even on the package.
Please be careful (especially if you have kids with food allergies).

Thanks so much for posting that info. both my DS have severe food allergies and DS4 is contact allergic to treenuts/peanuts(as well as a long list of other things). We have a trader joes about 10 min from me and always hear good stuff about their products but have never researched them for labeling allergens and cross contamination. They have now been taken off my list of research. Thanks again!!

Thats not our store but I am going to stay clear of them all. Hope you are feeling better and thanks again for the warning.
