Can I empty out the mini-bar and use it or should I request a refrigerator? Or, can I bring my ice-chest and fill it up daily with the hotel ice? I've done this at the Disney Resorts, but what about the Wyndham? Would this be tacky?

If I remember correctly, there is a daily charge to rent a refrigerator. They put it under the sink, which was outside the bathroom.
The hotel is very nice, but not stuffy, I wouldn't worry about bringing cooler into room and filling it daily with ice!
Our bellhop was sooo nice, he answered so many questions for us. I'm not sure where the ice machines are located, but, I'm sure they could help you out.
Have a great trip!

Hi, I was just there yesterday! The refrigerator is inside a cabinet in this wall unit/dresser thing they have. The fridge is pretty roomy bigger then one I had at Coronado Springs. The fee is $10.00 a day. I didn't use it instead I would fill up the ice bucket and bought soda, water, and juice from a super market and just poured my drinks into a glass over ice. As for milk I would buy in the morning at the Water Cress market. There's a ice machine on every floor. I did see many families checking in with coolers and shopping bags with food, snacks, drinks, etc. Especially those you saw that drove to Forida. So, bringing your cooler would not be tacky!
Hope this helps!
Sad to be back! :(

I have reservations at WP in July. I called and inquired about fridge. They are $10 a day however he indicated that the maximum charge is for three nights, $30.00 (we are staying for 8 nights).
