# of names on a Deed

My parents are in thier 60's and are interested in buying a DVC. How many names can you put on a deed? They would like to put three names. Is that permissible?

If not, what would happen when they pass away? How easy is it to change names on deed?

We were told that up to four names could be on the contract. One person has to be designated as the "boss" to settle any disputes or conflicts. We have three names on our contract, and DVC sends info to both addresses. Reservation confirmation go to the responsible person.
