Okay, here it goes- ALL FULL
You may sign up for more than 1 group-include clolor of flowers and kind if it's something other than the reguar 5 petal flower in the got flowers bottle. Please buy different colors for each group. Buy one bottle or container for each group of 10 and divide it out evenly. All containers usually contain at least 101 flowers, so with groups of 10 each person should get at least 10. Many more with the smaller flowers.
Mailing-
1. Please pm me your email address and also check in within 2 weeks of the swap. I will start a check in thread around then. If you don't check in or respond to a pm I will angel out your spot.
1. Package the flowers in small bags (with your dis name and group) and include these in a larger bag with your name, disname and group. On the outside of your package include your name and disname and group(s). If you join more than 1 group-have each group in its own larger bag. Include a SASE in your mailing package with the same amount on it that is cost to mail your package.
2. DUE DATE-is 4/2. They shoud be to me by that date. I will wait 2-3 days while I am dividing them up and then they will be sent out! If they are all here sooner I will mail them out sooner.
3. I will be out of town March 2-10, so please do not mail them during this time period. I will pm my address to you shortly.

Also, with groups A and B, are there prima flowers that come with brads, or is everyone just including coordinating brads purchased separately? Because I was going to pick one of those too but wanted to be sure.

I bought the purple bitty bag back around xmas. I love the assortment! I got DH 2 containers of chocolate covered cranberries for xmas and now that they are empty I'm using them to store my mixed flowers. They are really pretty tear shaped clear plastic jars.

When you sign up for element swaps you can put the flowers in if you pick embellishments!

I got a bottle for each group I'm in. The "Got Flowers" bottles had 120 to 150 flowers in the bottles, but the "Got Daisies" bottles only had 70 to 80 in them (though they were larger flowers)....I just divided the flowers into 10 baggies for each bottle.

Okay I messed up :( I got these tiny bottles from Joann's and they only have like 50 flowers in them and they're really little. Off to do another order somewhere else

Mine arrived at my post office this AM :) Hopefully it will come today but probably Monday. Either way, I can't wait!! She had to refund a few dollars to me because she ran out of the Disney turn mounts :( but she did that directly through paypal. I'm pleased.

I emailed her Thursday and she replied with a tracking number (she ships through stamps.com). When I put the tracking # in at usps.com this morning, it showed that it had arrived at the Rock Hill PO :cool1: AND - it was delivered to me at noon!:banana: I am so excited and am going to separate my flowers tonight. My one complaint is that the papers I ordered were all bent :( She put cardboard behind them and then placed them in a large plastic bag but they still got damaged:sad1: Still usable but disappointing. Otherwise, I am very happy with my order!

Ok- I ran short on flowers. So when I went back to get another bottle they where out- so I need to switch my colors.
Group 1 will get Studio 24o- A blue and Yellow mix
Group 2 will get Studio 24 J - A lime green, red and light blue mix

I hope that is ok.

Sorry some of you have had a bad experience with BargainPack. I've always been lucky with them and I just love her shipping prices. Yodasmom - do you mind sharing what sites you've found with reasonable shipping? Some of the other ones I've found are outrageous.

I ordered from scrapbooking-warehouse.com and just compared my order. Bargainpack's shipping is actually a little less (sorry). But, the flowers were cheaper from Scrapbooking warehouse which made my order cheaper than if I had ordered from Bargain Pack. I ordered several bottles from Scrapbooking Warehouse and their shipping is a flat $5.99. My order arrived 3 days after I placed it. They have a very large inventory. I had never ordered from them before and had a great experience.

I actually used that site for this swap too because Bargain Pack didn't have a good Daisy selection and they are my favorites. $6 for shipping isn't too bad, but sometimes I place small orders and then it seems like a lot. I would feel I need to buy more to justify that shipping price. As if I don't have enough reasons to buy scrap stuff. ;)

Well, my order came yesterday...and 1 of the bottles was crushed...glass everywhere. They were stuffed in a thin flat rate envelope, with 2 cardboard pieces on either side, and very thin bubble wrap around each one. Needless to say I was disappointed :headache:

Gayle answered the email I sent right away, and says she is personally going to package my replacement bottle, and send it off to me today. She said she told "them" (not sure who "them" is) not to send the flowers that way, and mine is the 2nd that this has happened to. She was very apologetic. I appreciate her trying to make things right.

Lucky for me, mine was okay. But with my postal people, it easily could have been smashed. It did NOT even say FRAGILE on it.

Yup, as soon as I pulled the package out of the mailbox I heard the crispy sounds, and I was hoping that the brads got loose...nope.

Ya know, I wrote that to her, that it didn't even say fragile. I'd rather pay more for shipping, and get the items in good condition.

Ditto!!!! That's very important to me. I don't want to over-pay with shipping, but I also want to pay enough that things are received in excellent condition. I don't believe paper should be shipped in those flimsy envelopes either. I make a note of companies that package well in addition to providing good value. It's no savings to pay less for shipping and to receive damaged items.
