What was Disney taping for?

We were in MGM on the 26th and watched the parade in a great location near the big hat. Before it started, CMs ran around and put cute little X-mas hats on all the kids, and there was a hilarious MC wandering around in front of us announcing all the characters as they came by. One time, a camera man stood right in front of DD to get a close-up. Was this for the X-mas special? When is airing?

I'm going to say that all the taping we ran into while we were there was for the Christmas day parade and show. I saw them taping some singers (famous?) in the AK. So, I'm anxious to watch the parade and see who we see in the background! Maybe your daughter will be on TV! :)

It was a celebration because the DIS Con attendees were coming! Did you also see the warning sign outside of Epcot that said if you don't want to be filmed, stay away from the camera? That was to warn that Dan Murphy and his camera were in town! :)
