Drink away, just don't throw the cans out in the street.

But no drunk driving with your golf cart:rotfl: :rotfl: . At 3A.M. it would not be a good idea to offer a beer to security when they ask you to quiet down(friends of ours):confused3 .

I'm a huge microbrew fan, and I wouldn't hit FW without bringing some of my fav brews along. Another one of the advantages to camping vs staying in a hotel.

I thought drinking was required???? After Mickey's BBQ, nothing like heading to the beach with a frozen treat from Crockets.

If you happen to see the FWguy kiwi, stop in for a Kungaloosh.

Thanks everyone! I thought it was kinda odd that they wouldn't allow drinkin' but I figured it would be best to check with the experts! Phew!

Captain Morgan's spiced rum, raspberry brandy, orange juice, strawberry daiquiri mix, blended with ice until slushy. Can be found at FWguy's kiwi and the Adventurers Club at DTD.

I use 1/4 cup of each ingredient and enough ice in a blender to make it slushy. You might want to sit down if you're having more than one.

There's a special cupboard in the kiwi kitchen for kungaloosh supplies, including umberellas. Gotta set your priorities, you know.

I'll tell you what, if any of you will be there for the 4th of July, I will supply the kungaloosh. I have a thread started for that trip and think I will be adding those ingredients for that trip. Must find coconut cups........

I have no interest in this company, but the Magic Bullet does a most excellent job at mixing the Kungaloosh and takes up minimal space. Also good for grinding Kona beans for coffee for the morning after - another must for our gourmet campouts.

I favor the simplicity of a good beer (in glass bottles of course) or a good bourbon and diet coke.

Got a question about the Kungaloosh recipe. When did you get that from the folks at Adventurer's Club??
Back in 98 and 99, the Kugaloosh seemed different, (less strawberry daquiri stuff, I think). I LOVED them back then. Nowadays, it seems like nothing more than a strawberry daquiri with "something" else in it, not sure what.
I also, used to love their Frozen Mudslides. It seemed they used to make them by hand. Now, it's just some premade mix, blech.

My recipe is actually a variation in which I cut way back on the daiquiri mix - it was way too sweet before.

Here's the link to it. The more the merrier, from what we have heard, the 4th in the Fort is a great time.

I could have sworn that the first time I had a Kungaloosh it was much darker, and contained blackberry brandy instead of raspberry. I remember liking that better, too, although I seem to recall them sneaking up on me a bit.

ctPooh, wow that was good, a "Minnie" bar. Kind of surprising Disney hasn't picked up on that in their hotels that have mini-bars.
You get extra points today, something tells me I'll be calling it a "Minnie" bar forever now. And that's a lot of trips, it always amazes me how little things can affect us so much ;)
