Any new rumors about expanding Ft. Wilderness?

It seems to be getting harder to get a reservation at Ft. Wilderness. Has anyone heard anymore rumors about expanding the campground?

WHat do you mean you cant get a reservation at the fort. I'm sure there are vacancies 10 years from now. lol It is getting bad. it seems you have to book a year in advance sometimes more to get a site. There is always talk of expansion. There is even another thread about that not to long ago. Nothing on the near horizion that i've heard of.

Disunplug is a great source of information for WDW. I sent them an email 2 weeks ago, asking if there was any infor or rumors about updates at FW. They have a guy on the staff that is very good about getting info on rumors, and he gives the information before Disney announces it.They liked my email so much, they are making a segment in the Disunplug show. People can email and they will find out rumors about any part of WDW. Since my email inspired them for the new segment, FW will be the first topic. Next Tuesday, The Disunplug is going to tell any rumors or info with pictures it can find. The Disunplug is found on the main page of this website.:thumbsup2

Stillh2o that is cool they started a segment becouse of you. I listen to Disunplugged every week you are right the info guy gives info weeks before you hear it anyware him always goes didn't I talk about that weeks ago. That is cool the first segment is FW if there is any rumors or update he will find them.

At the top of this page on the left you will see Disney World Information click on that the next page you will see the link to disunplug. there is a list of all passed shows so you can get up to speed to where we are now. Great place to get Info on every thing Disney.....

Ok, I listened to the podcast today but just as they are getting into the FW discussion the podcast stops. I can't get it to play the rest of the FW discussion. Anyone have this problem or been able to hear the full podcast?

I just finished listening to the Dis unplugged show re. FW. Bob's information was little more than what someone could read on Disney's web site, and seemed to be presented in a less than enthusiastic manner. With the hype re. him supposedly getting inside info about rumors, this was a pretty big disappointment.

I was disappointed to in some of the other show Bob talk about thing you couldn't find anywhere week before thay where made known. So I Re E-mail the Disunplugged with a list if Idems to to research and ask him to goto Camping at Disney forum to see what poeple are talking about for rumors.
I hope the next update on the Disunplugg will be more of what we are looking for. And Sorry Everyone...............

just returned from the FORT...two months in loop 900...nice, quiet...
however, could not get 08 reservations for Jan and Feb...called November for 08..got Jan 18th thru March,1 but only.. preferred site available...., only thing I could get......will keep trying, wanna get full hook up..this is getting to be a pain in the butt, ya know!......................
