I have a Canon digital rebel.
I am looking for a battery grip for it. I went to Ritz camera, and they told me that I needed the BG-E1 model for my grip. The only thing I see available is the BG-E3.
Will the BG-E3 work on my digital rebel? :confused3
Please help me!

According to Canon's website: usa.canon.com you need the BG-E3.

My camera seems to not be on their website. It isn't the XT or the XTi.
Just the digital rebel.
I found one on Amazon, and it says it will only work on the XT or XTi.
Now I am even more confused. :sad1:

You definately need the BG-E1. The BG-E3 is too small.
Apparently Canon no longer sells it at "The Canon Store". Try Ebay: http://search.ebay.com/bg-e1_W0QQfkrZ1QQfromZR8QQsatitleZbgQ2de1

you might try KEH.com as well, they have used accessories and i know they have a few grips right now, don't know the numbers
http://www.keh.com/Onlinestore/home.aspx
when you go to canon autofocus it will show you all kinds of goodies, the grips etc are at the very end of the list

this is my bookmarked place for used canon stuff so you could maybe try them as well

Oops! :(
Sorry, I pointed you to the wrong grip. I forgot about the original Rebel.
