Week of May 13th - how hard to get a ressie

We recently purchased a resale, and are waiting to close... we have 50 points we must use by 9/31/07 or we will lose them
We were going to try to get an OKW studio the week of May 13 for a Sun-Thurs night stay... what do you think our chances are??
(we won't be able to make the ressie until we close and then 10 days later to get into the system!)

I am curious about May ressies as well. We just passed ROFR and conservatively won't be able to make a reservation until March 15th or so, maybe longer.

We would want either of the first 2 weeks in May resort is flexible. Hopefully both of us will get our wish!!

The hardest day of that week is Sunday, due to Mother's Day. I was able to book 3 nights Tues-Fri at VWL last month for a studio and have yet to decide whether to book the first two days at another DVC or just get a room at VWL or elsewhere. It seemed that it was the weekend that was busy, because everything from Tues. on seemed more available. I would bet that the larger resorts (OKW, SSR) might have some availability. Good luck! I was able to book a studio at OKW last week for May 13th thru 17th. I am waitlisted for BWV or BCV. A studio at OKW/BWV/BCV wasn't available for May 6th.

I didn't think we'd get it on such short notice but there didn't seem to be a shortage....we got a one bedroom and it is just a couple nights...but you may be in luck!

well, we booked a one-bedroom at the lodge for Fri May 11 and Sat. May 12 a couple of days ago. Weekends are easier though.
