Hampton Inn South of Universal

Anyone ever stay at the above Hotel. How was it. Is it a long drive to WDW?

The Hampton Inn South of Universal is located on Kirkman Road, near International Drive. This means that there are tons of restauraunts, shops and entertainment venues within walking distance of the hotel. Universal is only a mile or two away, and disney can be a 10-15 minute drive.

They did recently renovate all their rooms. As you many know, all Hampton Inns provide amenities like free breakfast, local calls, hbo, 100% satisfaction guarantee. I love staying at Hampton Inns, they have a great value.

Just so you know, there are about 10 hampton Inns in the Orlando area, so you will definitley find one near where you are going. You can get good rates for this Hampton Inn in particular from http://www.orlandodiscountrooms.com/hamptoninnsouth.htm I think rates are as low as $50.

I have also heard a lot of good things about the various Hampton Inns in this area, with them consistently getting great ratings on value for money.
