Layout challenge (March)

I think we need some challenges here! What do you guys think?

I was thinking we should scrap a day. March 2nd. It's a Friday, 2 weeks from tomorrow. Don't plan anything special, just your daily routine. Then I'll start a thread around the end of March so we can post our pics.
Yes? No? Maybe? I'm crazy? Well ok question #4 is a given, but still.....

I know the photography board has some challenges too, maybe we tie ours in sometimes.

I'm in... I just finished up all my title pages for our Christmas album.. now I need to start adding the pictures and making sure I have copies..
March 2nd is a good day for me... it's report card day.. so I'll need something to keep my busy for the day!!

This sounds cool! Let's see, March 2nd. That's a work day for me, and it's also the day cheerleading uniforms are due. Pics of me in at my messy desk at work, surrounded by 13 sets of uniforms--5 skirts and 6 tops per set. . .plus poms!! That'll make a heck of a layout! :rotfl2:

Now, I know that I have to take pictures of various things around the house just in case we would ever need them for insurance purposes. I might be able to get some of those photos taken on March 2nd and burn them to a CD.

Well, as much as DH said he'd love to continue the vinyl siding upgrade on the west end of the house.. he declined due to the weather.. so I guess you'll see me doing laundry!

I need to be challenged to get done the pictures I already have waiting! So maybe two challenges?? Like a "use up the oldest paper in your stash" challenge?? Or a "get caught up to the 21st century" challenge?? Or better yet, a "how many pages can you get done this weekend while simultaneously staying caught up with laundry, dishes, meals and whining kids" challenge? :laundy:

Any other thoughts? ...................P

No offense taken. I do have some other ideas, I'm just trying to get some of us out of our comfort zones. Some of the ideas I'm looking at are:
-Patterned paper only
-All abut you (that will use up some existing photos)
-2 page LO using 10 or more photos
-photo free layout
-shop your stash (spend $0.00 on a layout)
-3 elements (where we all use the same types of elements ie. ribbon, brads, primas)

I thought of some others today but got caught up in something else and have now lost them.. I plan on scrapping at least 10 pages tomorrow or I'm going to ban myself from the dreaded:laundy: until I complete them!!! Although my scraproom is next to the :laundy: room so I should be able to multi-task!!!

Hey now! ;) I have actually used quite a few of my swap items in my book from our September trip and in the "book that will not end" from the June trip. It's just that I did SO many swaps (yes, I am an addict) that the pile does not seem to decrease!

This is a take off on the year of a million dreams. I'll die if this makes you get choosen to win a real year of a million dreams prize....and if you do you better take tons of photos and scrap them for us. ;) You have 2 weeks from your return to scrap the pages. Sound good? :cloud9:

I'm totally up for this challenge. DH and I were just talking about how we are packing our camera bag and what we are bringing. Keep us in your thoughts on March 8th. We are going to be at MK for DD's first birthday!! Hopefully we will have some Pixie Dust sent our way!

We have a picture of all 5 kids in front of the "Welcome to Florida" sign at a rest stop.. Well, I got one w/ DH still in the picture trying to get the kids organized.. I got one of him walking away and waving at the youngest who was 1.5 at the time.. than my next picture of him running up to the camera.. I think he thought we were lining them up to leave them behind!!! I tell you it's the best picture...

Than I have a good one of two of our sons in a TN rest stop walking back to the van w/ DH... I got so tickled because the youngest DS4 at the time... had a map open and evidently was making sure Dad was taking the route road to the World!!

We drove in November. So I have one of DH, DsD, and DD at the welcome to FL sign. OF course no one bothered taking one with me although we do have me, DsD, and DD drinking the OJ.

I cannot believe when I went to NH I was looking for a welcome to NH sign and we were right on the border in and out of VT and I only saw one and is wasn't where I could take a pic. I was sooo upset. My pages came out fine anyway but.... ;)

I finally printed my pictures, I have an idea for the title but nothing else. I just finished scrapping two Disney vacations, these pages may be a bit plain, I'm burned out!
