Is there an actual stream running behind the 1400 loop? I looked at satellite view and it appears to be more of a algae pass than a stream.
2nd question if you don't mind; Is the 1400 loop more shaded and private than 300 or vise versa?
Leaving for FW in 2 weeks and just trying to make sure all is good....:)

They are all shaded about the same, 300 loop is closer to the Settlement and 1400 is closer to the pool.

I thought of it more as a ditch. I don't remember it being very big (wide). What is an algae pass? Last December was our first time there and I really didn't pay that much attention to it. Some others here may have a better description.
We liked the 1400 loop. That is where we requested for our next trip.
Couldn't tell you about the 300 loop but this is the BEST place to find information out. The people here are great!
300 is pet loop
1400 is not
The "stream" is about 4 feet wide and when I think of a stream I think of moving water and it does not seem to move. Rather stagnant.
The waterway is on the outer loop of 1400, behind the rv sites.
Hope that helps

The streams you mention are all more or less canals dug to drain the land when FW was built. The sites in 1400 are not too close to the canal you are talking about....it's seperated by thick vegetation in most places.
Here is a picture of our rig in the 1400 loop, the canal is behind it...you can make out the bridge on the main road. You'll see how thick the vegetation is. This picture was taken in Oct 2004.
