This will be our first time at WDW without a rental car (I am determined to save that expense!!) we are staying at FW in a cabin - and I was wondering ....how many different buses and how long will it take to get to DTD?? :confused3 If anyone could explain how many stops (and where) we would have to make, I would greatly appreciate it!

Also, while we're on the transportion topic...can you take the WL boat to the Contemporary? Is there a map somewhere that shows the MK boat route?

Thanks for any and all info!!!:wave2:

First of all there are two boats from the Fort Wilderness Settlement dock one goes to the Wilderness Lodge and Magic Kingdom. The other boat goes to the Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary. You will be taking a purple bus from the cabin loops to either the Outpost where you check in or the Settlement where you will find the boat dock, Pioneer Hall with the Hoop DeeDoo dinner show and the Trails End Buffet and the Settlement Trading Post. The Settlement bus stop is where you will get the MGM studios bus.The Outpost bus stop is where you get the Downtown Disney bus ,the Epcot bus and the Animal Kingdom bus.All of the park buses go directly to the parks ecept for the Animal Kingdom bus which also stops at a Blizzard Beach. It only takes about 10 minuets to get to Downtown Disney from the Outpost stop. You might want to check out this site for more info. www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_fw.htm
