Tia and I were talking about the Private Message message that comes up to tell you that you have a PM. Sometimes it continues to come up after you've read the PM. I finally figured out what to do about it. If you've already figured this out, you can just ignore me from this point on. :D
After I read the PM and I am returned to my user CP, I hit F5 to refresh the screen. It makes the PM go into the Inbox, and the message doesn't come up on your screen anymore.
I hope that made sense. I'm getting very sleepy. :p
My doughnuts are here. Bye.
Thanks Dayna, that drives me crazy too!!! :)

Mine doesn't tell me when I have a PM. I just have to remember to go there & look, so if you send me a PM & I don't respond right away, it's because I don't know it's there.

Miss, Nancy, if you go to your user CP and select "edit options" you can change it to be notified when you receive a PM. Go about halfway down (in the second section) and there will be one option that states: Send you an email when you receive a Private Message? I have that checked "no." The next option states: Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message? This will pop up a small warning box when you receive a Private Message asking whether you want to view the message. I have this checked "yes." I know right away when PM comes in. I hope that helps.
