I'm 22, and I'll be turning 23 on the April 19! They surprised me with a Disney Birthday trip! What can I say, I'm still their princess! lol

i'm 24, almost 25. i went to wdw for several days in december with my fiancee, also old.

we meant to go to PI, but after a full day in the parks every day we were just tooooooooooooooo tired!

My two roommates and I will be there late September- early October 2007 for a birthday trip (we're all October babies!) Still nailing down exact dates with work schedules and everything.

I guess we're all on the "old" side, too-- we'll be turning 24-26! Haha! But we're fun old girls. And we're cute, too. ;)

Haha!! Well I found out not too long ago that my suitemate and her family are going to WDW the same time as we are and I asked her if she would want to pay the $ to go to PI b/c we got the free ticket upgrade and they arent staying on property so they didnt get the tickets upgraded like us and she was like oh ya we're going (she did the college program a year ago) so it looks like I might actually get my chance to go to PI!!! Of course i'll have like a drink b/c I'm sure they are super expensive!

My boyfriend and I will be heading there in October at the latest (aiming to make a sooner trip if things go well financially) but he doesn't like to dance, and this is my big 21! I've waited forever to get into some of the clubs at PI...but I can't just go dancing and let him hover in a corner. I know he'd like to be sleeping, but then I'd hate to go alone, and it'd feel odd taking my brother!:sad1:

Good luck finding a party-buddy! I know I'd go with you if I could!

I think you'll be okay, It's good that you have at least 1 person to go with! And some of the clubs-- like comedy and safari are a blast even by yourself if it comes to that! Just go for it, because like you said, you can always just leave if you need to! ::yes::

Thanks but thats the day we leave!! My one roommate from college is supposed to go down and said she would pay to get into one of the clubs but not all of them so I'm hoping to go with her a night and then i guess just take the bus back to WL and she'll drive back to their condo, but thanks!!

Well me and a friend of mine from London are gonna be coming over to florida at some point later this year. I turned 21 last september and he turns 21 this august so once he is off age we are gonna be hitting up PI big style!

when i know dates ill post them in here.

I went with him in July last year and we ended up at an awesome club in Tampa with a friend of mine who goes to USF and even tho we were 20 we got in and could drink. I think if you go away from the main tourist areas they are much more relaxed on alcohol.

lol thats for sure, I went to west palm beach last march w/my roomie and we went out with some of her cousins and i think we went to a total of 4 or 5 bars while we were there and i was never carded once. Most of them down there are like the "open air" ones where you can go outside so it was oh so easy to give them money for my drinks then bring them out to me!! When we went to disney we considered going to PI but we were only there for a day and hit up all 4 parks and DTD and decided to skip PI cuz we knew 100% that I couldnt drink even tho my 21st was 5 days away!

Thats too bad you are going in June, just a month after me. We're the crazy family that has graduation/move out and then leave for vacation the next day but my dad refuses to go in the summer cuz its just way too crowded and hes not patient anymore!! So I guess I can actually say this is my grad present considering I'll be on a plane to FL not even 24 hrs after I graduate lol although I'm going back in the fall to finish my student teaching so its like I'm graduating but not really too lol

There was some strategic planning for the disney trip with the 21-ness.

Me and my bf will be going june12-19 and specifically waited to make our trip until we were both 21. I'll be 21 in April and he just turned.

Whats even more sad is that neither of us drink really, but apparently we think we are at PI this vacation. haha

What are everyone's favorite clubs in Pleasure Island for dancing? Where do the younger crowd hang out? I have yet to experience PI, Im coming from the West Coast (used to LA clubs)...

Howl at the Moon? That sounds fun! Are the Orlando clubs anything like Miami? Stayed there plenty, but I've never gone out in Orlando.

I can't wait for the book to come out but my problem is I can't read it until Aug 1st!! I'll be in Italy and France till then and no way of jetting up to London for a quick grab. Plus it will be impossible if I don't pre-order...:sad1:

My boyfriend is 26 and I'm 21, niether of us have been to P.I. but are certainly curious about it. If anyone will be vacationing there between July 9th-13th we'd love to hang out with yah. :)
