View Full Version : Welp I finally applied

Two years after I had originally planned to apply for the CP I finally did. I will be graduating in May and I applied for the Fall 07 semester. I really really hope I will get a job in transportation.( I have a 100 ton captains license, so I am more than qualified to captain the friendships). This is my dream job. I finished the application 20 minutes ago and I am about to call for a phone interview... any words of incouragement would be greatly appreciated

Just wanted to say good luck. The CP's were the best time of my life!! Great experience that you can't trade for anything!! I can't wait to get back there (although not on the CP). Just enjoy every second of it and make sure to take advantage of EVERYTHING!!!

No, you want to get 'operations' if you'd like to be a Friendship boat captain :) My daughter is a FB captain ~ She did the CP in 2005 and is now a seasonal CM. She and her other CP captains felt they truly had the 'best job in the World'! They had a wonderful time and she still loves going back to drive the boats every few months.
