I have waited 11 months to write this trip report and feel I've rushed it but I wanted to get it all down before I forget! So, here are my final thoughts:
Weather--absolutely beautiful!!!It was warm enought to swim which we had prayed for!!
crowds--sometimes the parks seemed dead, but sometimes rather busy. Every cast member we spoke to said that the crowds were very typical for this time of year. They said it seemed normal. So, if crowds are normal, then why cutbacks? I wish that they would at least have EE mornings for MK. Also, the park closing at 6(MK) was silly!
Anyway, despite a few harry moments and cutting the trip a little short, this was a very magical trip! We loved the Marriott and thought it suited our family well. However, I would probably stay at All Stars if there rate would have been cheaper, but for $29 it was fabulous. The one night that we stayed off site was awful. For future trips, we'll just drive down early in the morning. Also, there were too many people in our party and my DH tried to tell me this, but I wanted everyone to be happy and leave no one behind. I think I saw my sister at total of 30 minutes!!My brother in the beginning was as hard to keep up with as my 8 yr. old he kept wandering off! So next trip it will be just DH and me and kids. However, my parents tend to just do there own thing and go with our schedule when it suits them. I just told them where we'd be and if they came, they came, if they didn't then that was fine. With my MIL since she is widowed she depended on us and I was worried about keeping her entertained and my kids entertained. But I think she had a very nice trip and it was nice to give her this once in a lifetime experience. (the last trip she and her DH took was to Disney in the late 70's before he died)
I also wished that we would have scheduled a day off in the middle of the week. We are still so tired. I think with early closings, it would have been easier to go to park about 10am and stay till closing(MK,MGM,AK) and gotten to room about 7:30 and swam and gone to bed earlier. It was a little draining walking from bus parking lot to park and vice versa. Since we took midday breaks we did this twice each day. I didn't bring my nice, big stroller b/c I didn't want to load it on the bus , so I knew daughter couldn't take a nap in Disney's stroller. However, our buses had storage underneath the bus and it wouldn't have been a problem. Anyway, I'm beginning to ramble. I did get my DH to agree to an annual trip!Yeah! If anyone has any guestions, please ask. I feel I have left out detail!

I might have missed it, but did you get a chance to see Fantasmic, because it is amazing. I agree totally with pool days, Disney is exhausting. Glad you get to go every year now.

Wow - you got a lot done. We also took a trip with extended family it was fun but keeping on top of everyone and making sure they are having a good time as hard.

Thanks for posting - I enjoyed reading them.

It's difficult to arrange a trip that will make everyone in a large group happy. I think you will enjoy WDW when you go with just your dh and your kids :)

I read all of your trip reports and enjoyed each one. Thank you, so much, for taking the time to post them for us to enjoy.

I hope my reports reflected how much fun we did have!! I can't wait to go back! No, we didn't see Fantasmic or Osborne lights I'm so Bummed out!! I was hoping to see both of them. I love these boards and really appreciate your responses!
