I just got back from London and saw Sound Of Music with DD7 who had a hard time not singing along at every opportunity. I hadn't seen any of the Maria programme on TV so went without any judgment already....it was a wonderful show! I have to say i wasn't wowed by Connie Fisher although she held her own, it was the children that wowed me. the staging is very clever and the nuns were spectacular. we were very lucky to get two tickets at all as we only got them 2 weeks ago, and I know its sold out through october. i highly recommend it if you get the chance to see it:thumbsup2 DD7 smiled the whole way through and the drive home with excitement so she gives it a big:thumbsup2 too!

My parents went last week and absolutely loved it. They thought Lesley Garrat was brillaint as Mother Superior.
I'll have to add it to my list!

I'd love to see it as I'm a big Lesley Garrett fan but DS wouldn't be too chuffed! I was quite sceptical about Connie Fisher but a lot of clients say she's great, I'm amazed she's actually still going, the regime is very tough going and she's doing well not to do a Martine McCutcheon so far!

I am desperate to see this, Gavin has looked at tickets and we may book soon for my birthday in September.
I'm impressed Connie Fisher has held up so far, in the Maria programme she had the least stamina according to the trainers who took them on an assault course!
:yay:
